There are affixes in both Chinese and Myanmar language,and they have play an important role in the derivation of new words.At present,the research on the Chinese affixing ontology results are quite good,but there are quite a few studies on the use of Chinese prefixes and suffixes by foreign students,especially for Myanmar students,we have not yet seen any studies that specifically aimed at understanding and using Chinese prefixes and suffixes by Myanmar students.What are the conditions for the understanding and using of Chinese prefixes and suffixes by Myanmar students? What are the problems? What are the types of errors types they cause,what are the reasons for their errors,and whether they are related to the difference between Chinese and Burmese affixes,and specifically reflected in what areas? In addition,what kind of teaching suggestions we can provide according to their mistakes? These are all issues of concern.So,we first sort out the previous research of Chinese affixes,the Burmese affixes and the comparative of Chinese-Burmese affixes,and then start to compare the prefix suffixes additional derived methods of Chinese and Burmese,then a questionnaire survey was carried out to understand the understanding and using of Chinese prefixes and suffixes by Myanmar students,and then make errors analysis.Finally,proposes the relevant teaching suggestions.There are six chapters in this paper:The first chapter is an introduction,this chapter mainly includes the significance of the topic selection,the research of Chinese affixes,Burmese affixes and the comparative of Chinese-Burmese affixes,as well as the research ideas,research methods and so on.The second chapter is the comparison of Chinese and Burmese affix additional derived methods.In this chapter,we make a comparative analysis of the ChineseBurmese prefix suffixes additional derived methods and conclude the similarities and differences between the Chinese and Burmese prefix suffixes.In the third chapter,we conduct a questionnaire survey on the understanding and using of Chinese prefixes and suffixes by Myanmar students,and then make a statistical analysis of the survey results.The fourth chapter is based on the survey results obtained in chapter three,analyzes the types of errors and the causes of errors that occur in understanding and using of Chinese prefix suffixes by Myanmar students.The fifth chapter is mainly based on the above analysis,put forward some teaching method suggestions of Chinese prefixes and suffixes for Myanmar students.The last chapter is the conclusion.This chapter is mainly to summarize the previous content,and introduce the research value.
