A Study On The Errors In The Use Of International Students' Affixes

In recent years, "root+class affixes" of word formation to become an important channel for Chinese New Words. The productivity of Semi-affixes is not only beneficial to second language learners to learn and master the Chinese words, but also can conductive to expand and enrich their vocabulary. So paying attention to teaching Chinese language class affixes, will facilitate Vocabulary Teaching in some extent. This paper selects "Chinese Proficiency Standards and grammar grades outline" (Hanban 1996) and "Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Grade Outline of Chinese characters" in 30 classes at Beijing Language and Culture University affixes dynamic composition Corpus where to search, summarize them all errors that occurred were sorting out the five types of error, namely the use of confusing, over-generalization, class affixes default, class affixes mix and redundant components. And from the perspective of the learner’s subjective perception, lexical semantics of the point of view, macro perspective and lexical semantics associated pragmatics these three areas analysis the reason of the five types of errors produced. Finally, from the above analysis, and investigation of teachers, combined with some previous teaching strategies have been proposed, we put forward some teaching suggestions about semi-affixes teaching on the teachers, teaching content, teaching methods and students, hopefully we can provide a reference to the Chinese teaching as a second language.The main content of this article is listed as follows:Chapter 1:Introduction. Introduces the background and significance of this paper, the concept of class affixes, the subjects of this paper, the ideas and methods of the paper.Chapter 2:The surveys about the students’s usage of semi-affixes. Analysis and explain the error data from Beijing Language and Culture University affixes dynamic composition Corpus and student semi-affixes usage error in the questionnaire.Chapter 3:The classified of students semi-affixes usage error. Mainly through Beijing Language and Culture University dynamic composition corpus and junior students, middle students and senior students related data in three different stages of language in the questionnaire, summarizing the use of class affixes five types of errors:usage confusion, over-generalization, category affixes default, class affixes mix, as well as redundant components and we also cited their errors for analysis.Chapter 4:Student semi-affixes Errors Cause Analysis. For students in the corpus and partial questionnaire appeared errors from the perspective of the learner’s subjective perception, lexical semantics of the point of view, macro perspective and lexical semantics associated pragmatics these three types of errors were analyzed in accordance with its errors causes.Chapter 5:Students semi-affixes teaching strategies. According to the research results of this second and third chapters, and teaching suggestions for classroom teachers in the interview survey and previous studies, this paper put forward some teaching suggestions about semi-affixes teaching on the teachers, teaching content, teaching methods and students, hopefully we can provide a reference to the Chinese teaching as a second language.Chapter 6:Conclusion. Make a brief summary of the full paper, and put forward the shortcoming of this paper.
