At present,the economic and social transformation in China continues in-depth,structural adjustment is obviously accelerating,and social competition is becoming increasingly fierce.The job burnout has become a common phenomenon,which exists in all kinds of work.Township civil servants are the specific executor of central,provincial and municipal policies at the grassroots level,and they are responsible for the healthy operation of the national administration.Under the new normal condition,civil servants not only undertake the increasing responsibility of the work,but also face with the increasingly harsh supervision by public opinion.Most of the township civil servants are subject to job burnout with high incidence.This situation not only harms personal health,but also has a negative impact on administrative efficiency.Strengthening the study on the job burnout phenomenon in this group has become the key to guarantee mental health of the township civil servants and improve the level of grassroots social governance.In this paper,we collated a large number of research literatures on job burnout at home and abroad,clarified the research ideas,put forward the research contents and basic methods,and proposed the research content.Firstly,the connotation,performance,and relevant theory about the job burnout of the township civil servants were explained.Secondly,empirical research was conducted based on 113 rural civil servants in S country,Jinan City using the questionnaire survey,and then analyzed descriptively.Comparative analysis was carried out to reveal the difference of job burnout under different demographic variables and to summarize the causes.The survey results showed that there was a relatively serious job burnout among the civil servants in S County,Jinan City.There are differences in demographic variables such as age,gender,educational level,marital status,job title,and working life of township civil servants.Township civil service job burnout was affected by many factors,including personal factors,and professional,organizational and social factors.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were proposed from the individual,occupation,organization,and social levels based on the reasons.
