Research On The Political Participation Of Contemporary Chinese Citizens

Citizen's political participation is an important way for citizens to participate in the political life of the country,to manage social public affairs,to express interest demands and to safeguard their own rights.It is a reflection of the status and role of citizens in political life.It is indispensable to modern social democracy.Citizen's political participation in the development of good or bad,related to the stability of the country and society,but also related to the construction of socialist political civilization can proceed smoothly.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the problems and countermeasures of contemporary Chinese citizens' political participation.Based on the principles of Marxism,this paper explores the relevant concepts and theories of civil political participation,combined with their own thinking to improve the effectiveness of our citizens to participate in political measures.The first chapter mainly introduces the background and significance of the thesis,the research summary at home and abroad,the research ideas and innovation of the thesis,and the research foundation of the thesis.The second chapter elaborates the basic concepts and related theories of citizen's political participation.The third chapter discusses the problems and causes of the political participation of contemporary Chinese citizens.The basic achievements of contemporary Chinese citizens 'political participation are: from the closed to the open political participation environment;the fading and the participation of the formal participation in the form of participation;the vigorous development of the villagers' autonomy;the participatory governance of urban community construction is in the ascendant.On the basis of seeing the achievements,we must also see the main problems of citizen's political participation: one is the existence of indifferent political participation phenomenon;the second is the citizen's participation in the blindness;the third is that the citizen's political participation is unbalanced;Four is the civic political participation disorderly prominent;five is the citizen political participation guarantee mechanism is imperfect;six is the individual participation mainly lacks the organized social organization.On the basis of in-depth analysis of the problem to find out the causes of the problem: the first level of economic development is not enough to limit the civil political participation required material conditions;the second democraticpolitical development is not sufficient,the lack of effective participation of civil society system;Third,the influence of the traditional culture and culture,the political participation of citizens has a negative psychological;the quality of the fourth citizens of their own low,limiting the ability of citizens to participate in politics;the fifth government and the lack of public officials affect the political participation of citizens.Chapter 5,according to the specific problems of Chinese citizen's political participation,combined with the current situation of our country,put forward the measures to enhance the effectiveness of Chinese citizens' political participation.One is to promote the social and economic development,to create good material conditions for the citizen's political participation;the second is to strengthen the education of civic awareness,to improve citizen's understanding of political participation;third is to enhance the citizens' political participation in the quality of citizens to improve political participation;Improve the laws and regulations,to ensure that citizens participate in legalization,institutionalization;five is to strengthen the citizen's political participation in cultural construction,to ensure the effectiveness of civil political participation.To improve the citizen's political participation in China is conducive to mobilize and organize the people to manage the public affairs of the country and society according to law,actively participate in the socialist modernization construction,better protect the rights and interests of the people,and realize the social status of the people.Therefore,it is the need of the development of the socialist democracy and the need of the development of the times.It is of great practical significance to discuss the problems and countermeasures of the political participation of our citizens.
