With the developing of social transformation, people's demand for benefits and enthusiasm for political participation are increasingly diversified than ever, more and more people through a variety of ways to influence the Government. To expand the political participation of citizens in an orderly implementation will become an important element in China's socialist modernization. Intellectuals are the main of social and political development in the new period of China , Since the capacity of intellectuals'political participation and influence is better than the other groups'and the ability of Intellectuals on the political process is bigger than other groups'.At the same time, intellectuals political participation in our country in the new period there have been some new features, For example: Class as an independent does not define the limits more and more clear, Gradually dispersed between other sectors of society, economic independence has increased, more and more pluralistic values, intellectuals'political participation in the mentality has changed, and recognition on the existing system has a dual nature.Therefore, the research on political participation of intellectuals in the new period of socialist construction in our country has become more complex and more difficult at the same time more meaningful.In order to discuss the political participation of intellectuals in the new era of China clearly, this paper focuses on the political participation of intellectuals'importance for the Construction of socialist democratic politics in our country; the characteristics of political participation of intellectuals; the impact factors of the participation of intellectuals; the current problem in the process of political participation; and how to solve the problem of political participation of intellectuals in our country .
