Dongyang City “8890 Virtual Nursing Home” Project Demand Management Research

With the increasing of aging degree of society,there are deficiencies in various aspects of old-age service,such as the elders’ daily living,health care and medical care,and mental condition,etc.Traditional way of old-age care now fails to satisfy the daily demand of the elder.However,by means of advanced internet technology,“Virtual Old People’s Home” manipulates social resources widely,to provide old people with more high-quality services,and to effectively satisfy old people’s demand for elderly care and enterprises’ operation demand simultaneously,which not only makes up the deficiencies of institution endowment and family endowment,but also offers a powerful guarantee for the boom of pension industry.The thesis starts with theoretical angle of project requirement management,reviews related theories of virtual old people’s home,and analyzes the issues about demand management in Dongyang’s virtual old people’s home,while taking the present development of virtual old people’s homes into consideration.Through the data of questionnaire and investigation of old people and staff of communities,the demand condition is described in the thesis.From two aspects,namely,project demand recognition and project stakeholder,related suggestions and solutions are put forward in demand management,with the application of project requirement management theory.The thesis holds that old-age service should be based on detailed category of users and demand recognition,and be directed at different groups,with characteristics and diversity involved;furthermore,the value chain of virtual pension industry should be completed,in order to form an overall ecological circle between suppliers,online platform of virtual old people’s home and the elder group that receives the service,and to achieve mutual benefit of related parties of this value chain,which will provide the operation of virtual old people’s home with some enlightenment.
