Study On The Health Problems And Legal Countermeasures Of Drinking Water In Jiangsu Province

The condition of drinking water is related to every person 's health and safety. To have the healthy drinking water is the basic appeal of everyone in the society.However, drinking water pollution incidents have occurred frequently in recent years.These events had a huge impact on people's daily life. And also the public has raised concerns about drinking water's quality. In order to reduce the number of water pollution incidents and to improve the quality of drinking water, those things must be done. For Jiangsu Province, the supervision and management of drinking water need to complete the relevant laws and to sound regulatory system immediately.This paper analyzed the main problems of drinking water conditions in Jiangsu Province. The condition of drinking water in Jiangsu Province is generally good.Jiangsu Province is rich in water resources, which provides drinking water for the basic guarantee. The water plant construction and the pipe network facilities are complete. But it also exists that the uneven distribution of water resources, river pollution, water shortage and other issues. After research, the author analyzes the main problems of the health condition of drinking water in Jiangsu Province. Such as the environmental pollution threatens the water sanitation and safety,the water quality is urgent to improve, the water transmission is damaged and as well as the secondary water pollution phenomenon is widespread.In order to solve the problem of drinking water hygiene in Jiangsu Province, this paper discussed the shortcomings of the supervision system of drinking water in Jiangsu Province from the legal level. The current drinking water legal system has some aspects of problems. There are too many principles of laws without specific provisions. And there are contradictions and conflicts between the laws. In addition,there are omissions in the legal system of drinking water. Moreover,the management of the supervision system of drinking water also has some issues. The financial of the drinking water is not adequate. The early warning and emergency response system of the drinking water is not perfect. Otherwise, there is a lack of public participation system of the drinking water. Furthermore, the paper put forward legal countermeasures to formulate the "Drinking water supervision and management regulations of Jiangsu Province". Moreover, the relevant departments have to improve the supporting measures of drinking water supervision system. In this way we can improve the condition of drinking water in Jiangsu Province.
