Deepen The Study Of The Path Of The Reform Of The Street Office System In China

Since its establishment in 1954,the sub-district office,as an extension of the basic level government in China,has played an irreplaceable role in the field of social governance,especially after the disintegration of the "unit system".However,Since the reform and opening up,the public are discontented with the sub-district office executive management mood of tight control and low efficiency that seriously hinder the development of civil society and community autonomy with the rapid development of economy and the improvement of material level.And also put forward higher standards and new demands on the sub-district office.Along with the gradual deepening of the reform of the basic level administrative system in China,the voice of the reform of the sub-district office system has become more and more popular in the academic circle.Many governments have launched a pilot reform of the system of sub-district offices.This paper analyzes the deep reasons behind the current governance dilemma that the sub-district office faced with through in-depth understanding of the history and current status of the sub-district office.And taking it as a starting point,the paper also puts forward the reform path of sub-district office on the basis of learning from the experience on grassroots governance at home and abroad.Hope that the sub-district office can provide better public services and promote social autonomy by straightening out the relationship between sub-district offices,governments of higher level and the residents committees,strengthening the internal construction of sub-district offices,cultivating the consciousness of civil autonomy and other measures.
