Seeing The Improvement Of The Refugee Legal System From The European Refugee Crisis

With today's globalization,the refugee problem become more and more complicated,and the reasons of contemporary refugees are subject to new changes.At present,the main sources of refugee definition in international law is the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees and its Protocol,but the refugee it's referred to is too narrow and cannot contain a wide range of groups who required humanitarian assistance instantly.The reason why the refugees flood into Europe become a crisis is a result of the combined effects of various factors,the influx of refugee has its own particularity,and it's also exposing the inadequacies of the international refugee legal system.The EU has continued to promote the integration of refugees and asylum systems from the last century,which aims to establish a legal system for the protection of refugee's human rights.However,the refugee issue involves the development of a country's politics,economy,culture and many other fields,and even the members of the European Union cannot maintain their position in the face of refugee crisis.The completeness of a country's domestic refugee legal system and its implication affect the various positions and policies of different countries.With the Syrian refugees flood into Europe constantly,the new responding policy also enlightens the construction of legal system.By analyzing the refugee protection system in several typical countries of the European Union and Europe,I hope this paper can do something good to the improvement of the international refugee legal system.
