Eurasianism And Russia's Asia-Pacific Diplomatic Strategy Research

Eurasianism plays a significant role in the Russia’s geopolitical ideologies.Russia’s Eurasianism originated from the overseas Russian in 1920 s.Then it was regarded as political dissent and suppressed by the Soviet authorities.After the collapse of the soviet union,Eurasianism came into a new season of growth.Eurasianism contains the idea of more attention to Asia,opposition to the west and balancing the east and west,in addition to establishing an Eurasia country by nationalism,strengthening relations with neighbor countries and developing the economy.The rise of Russia’s Eurasianism and the development of its Asian-Pacific diplomatic strategy accelerate each other.Under the guidance of the Eurasianism,Russia exerts effort to implement her Asia-Pacific diplomatic strategy,which contains promotion of her global position,participation of the regional economic integration,development of the Siberia and far east area as well as maintenance her safety in the east,in terms of developing and improving the relationship with Asia-Pacific countries and to take part in the regional integration organizations.And the Sino-Russia relationship is prominent on the Russia’s foreign policies in the Asia-Pacific.Nevertheless,the tasks above are suffering from something difficult,Russia will continue to pursue its Asia-Pacific diplomatic strategy in the light of the Eurasianism by analyzing its contents and implement.
