| Classical Chinese poetry is a huge treasure, it is worth us to dig. In today’s spiritual emptiness, empty the soul of a very serious sense of the era, the teaching of classical poetry for high school students feelings of patriotism, national pride, enhance their language literacy are important. Over the years, language educators to explore the teaching of classical poetry has never stopped, encountered difficulties, but also accumulated rich experience. But the current high school teaching classical poetry and did not play its due role. Students can not understand the beauty of classical poetry, do not like the ancient poetry, do not do poetry appreciation of the ancient question, long caught in a vicious cycle, making the trouble of teaching high school poetry.Aesthetic imagination is the aesthetic of the main activities of the aesthetic to make a smooth start of an important ability, this ability of reading ancient poetry has an important role. To get students to like the ancient poetry, it is necessary to enable students to appreciate the beauty of ancient poetry, we must use the U.S. approach to teaching, we must teach students how to appreciate beauty.
