With the development of the society, the deepening of economic reform and people's living standards improving, the understanding of physical and mental health is increasingly strengthened. The use of Sports activities as for improving physical quality, entertaining body and mind gradually reflected. The status of physical activity in people's life constantly improve, thus raised a hot wave of national fitness.Teenagers are the future of our country, they are also the hope of our nation and the builders and successors of social development. However in the 2005 national students' physical health survey results show,that lung capacity levels continue to decline, lung capacity level among all age groups in our country continue to fall. A further decline in the speed, the explosive force, strength and endurance, endurance quality level, different index decline has different characteristics, students in overweight and obesity rates continue to increase,and become another major influence factors of the nutrition and health condition of students. The detection rate of poor eyesight is still high.. May 27, 2007, the State Council issued the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on strengthening youth sports to enhance the opinion of the youngster health, through carrying out "Sunshine Sports", guide the majority of young students out of the classroom, into the playground, to nature, exercise in the sunshine, ultimate goal is to enable students to develop good exercise habits, so as to improve the students' physical and mental health level. The big break sports activities flourished from on.Big break sports activities is developed on the basis of the original lesson,it is a new organizational forms of exercise.Comparing with the traditional setting-up gymnastics,It is rich in content and activity for a long time, flexible organization form, exercise load is appropriate, Big break sports activities can not only alleviate the fatigue of the students in class, but also the students' physical and mental health has a positive effect. Big recess sports activities will turn a single, boring traditional lesson into a big recess.that has rich contents, various formsLicheng District Education Bureau always take "the health first" as the guiding ideology of school education and teaching, in order to ensure the students every day exercise an hour., At the beginning of 2006,the big recess began to carry out in the whole region Licheng District primary and secondary schools ensure one hour big break sports activities time and choose appropriate contents according to the characteristics of the primary and secondary school students.This article uses the literature material method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, it mainly surveys and researches and shows the content, time, of understanding situation and students' participation, exercise load, restricting factors and the methods of evaluation, investigation, countermeasure analysisFirst,91.89%of the primary and secondary school students in Licheng District participate in the big recess.The primary students' proportion is the highest, followed by junior high, the last is the high school, On the contrary,the numbers of students that doesn't matter and don't participate is the highest in high school, then junior high school times and primary school at least. Most of the students recognize the role of the big recess physical activity, the purpose and significance to develop big recess sports activities. The principals and sports teachers in Licheng District primary and secondary school think that big break sports activities in schools is very necessary Most students' parents would like the children to take part in the physical activities during the big recess, and have a positive attitude for school to carry out the big recess.Second, the primary and secondary schools in Licheng District p usually hold the big recess on the morning of the second class, second class in the afternoon.
