Research On The Relationship Between Attention Characteristics And Will Quality Of High-level Volleyball Players

The modern volleyball game needs athletes with strong attention to face the complex field on the battlefield. It always needs indomitable willpower and indomitable spirit to overcome the difficulties encountered in the game.In this paper, we quantitatively study the attention characteristics and will quality of the athletes by measuring the psychological scale of attention characteristics and will quality. We comprehensively and deeply analysis the development situation of volleyball players' will level and attention ability.The purpose is to understand the relationship between the will quality and attention characteristics of volleyball players.Use their attention ability and will quality resources reasonably and make best use of the advantages and bypass the disadvantages.and then develop a set of scientific, suitable model for the athlete's tactics.These will provide the guarantee for the development of volleyball players in normal technical and tactical play or potential ability.It also provides theoretical reference for the future psychological selection and scientific training.The object of study is male and female volleyball athletes of the Shandong Province,Shandong Province youth volleyball team of men and women athletes, women's volleyball athletes of the Shandong Normal University, male volleyball players of the Shandong University of Finance and Economics, male and female volleyball athletes of Beijing Sport University,male and female volleyball athletes of Beihang University,a total of 120 athletes.The attention characteristics and the will quality of the high level volleyball players were measured by the Attention Test Scale and the Excellent Athlete Will Quality Scale.And the data is analyzed by T-test multivariate ANOVA,one-way ANOVA,multiple comparisons analysis and so on.The results show:1. The attention transfer ability and consciousness of female athletes are significantly higher than that of male volleyball players, decisiveness and perseverance of which is slightly higher than that of the male players. However, Self--control of will quality of the male volleyball players is obviously higher than that of female volleyball players, initiative of which is slightly higher than that of the female players.2. The attention transfer ability of the low age group is significantly lower than that of the middle age group.Attention span is significantly higher than the other two groups.The initiative of the high age group is significantly higher than that in the low and middle age group, and consciousness is significantly higher than that of the low age group.With the growth of age,athletes only show a downward trend in self-control, while the other four dimensions of will quality are the upward trend.3. Low training players' self-control are significantly higher than that of middle training players. Consciousness, determination, tenacity and initiative and attention characteristics are faintly affected by the years of training.4. Attention span of the first and second class athletes is significantly higher than the national master athletes.The attention transfer ability of the second class athletes is better than the first class athletes and national excellent athletes.The self-- consciousness and determination of the second class athletes was significantly higher than the first class athletes and national excellent athletes.5.The attention stability of assistant setter is obviously higher than that of the main font and vice font. The self--consciousness of the free man was significantly lower than the other four position players.The decisiveness level of vice attack was significantly higher than that of the main attack.The initiative level of reinforce is the highest,which forms obvious difference with the main attack and the setter.6. The attention stability and tenacity of the will quality show a significant positive correlation. The attention transfer ability and self--control of will quality make significant negative correlation. However, attention span and attention distribution do not show an obvious correlation with will quality.
