With the continuous progress of science and technology,gradually accelerating the reform of education,more and more educationalists are reluctant to study pedagogical practices with initiative joy.New education concept of edutainment creates the special educational channel considering teaching integrates with computer games that its enjoyment and intersecting push majority young people favor in their daily life.If we combine education with recreation,so that students will study in a happy and relaxed atmosphere,it can achieve “edutainment” concept of education,which also find out a new education method— Game based on teaching.Although educational game has been used widely,teachers still have a lot of misunderstandings in the strategy of selection and application.We can't get the optimal results of teaching.With the increasing attention to English,primary school English teaching reform and innovation also put forward higher requirements.Meanwhile,listening is a very important aspect in primary school English learning.So how to choose and use educational games has significance meaning.In this paper,through reference and analyze large amounts of literature to understanding the connotation of education game and the theory based on game technology,as well as the current situation of primary school English listening,research the problem of teachers on the selection and application of teaching game,provides a theoretical basis and guidance for the study of primary school English teaching strategies which based on gaming technology.In this paper,writer gives teachers a questionnaire.In order to survey the problem of education game application.Combine of psychological characteristics and learning features of primary students and English listening teaching law,collate and analysis the results of the questionnaires,and then to sum up a complete set of teaching strategies which including choose strategies and application strategies.Hope this research will provide some reference for teacher to choose and use education game and then improve the teaching effect as well as effectively improve the effect of the primary school English listening study.Meanwhile this paper has reference significance for the future games of the development and use.
