| The emergence of the Internet has largely changed the material and spiritual lives of the masses and network life has become an important part of people’s daily life.The use of the Internet has had a significant impact on the learning,lives,bodies and minds of senior high school students in growth period and has gradually changed their ways of thinking and acting.This paper takes a senior high school in a rural-urban fringe zone as an example.It randomly selects 286 students from Grades 1,2 and 3 as the participants,selects 6among them as the interviewees and compiles Questionnaire for Network Utilization Status of Senior High School Students and Interview Outline for Network Utilization Status of Senior High School Students as the research tools to provide basis for schools,educators and parents to guide students to utilize network effectively.The research contents include the following four parts: Ⅰ.Network utilization environment for senior high school students,including the main places for senior high school students to surf the Internet,the time to contact network,sources to acquire network knowledge and the equipment to surf the Internet;Ⅱ.The purposes and attitudes to network utilization of senior high school students: the purposes of network utilization include enriching knowledge,making friends,entertainment,communicating information with others and understanding social information;the attitudes to network utilization include whether they like learning via network,whether they feel happy to communicate via network,whether they are satisfied with online entertainment and whether they like utilizing network;Ⅲ.The contents and skills of senior high school students on network utilization: the contents of network utilization include browsing and downloading text information,watching videos,playing online games,communication and comments as well as online shopping;the skills of network utilization include using search engines,communication and social software(such as QQ,WeChat and Weibo),establishing personal space or homepage,downloading software,playing online games and online trading;Ⅳ.Network utilization effect of senior high school students,including whether it can make them acquire disciplinary knowledge and friendship,whether it can relieve stress in life and learning,whether it can make their bodies and minds healthy and positive,whether it can increase their operating skills(such as animation and webpagemaking)in the aspect of computer network and whether it can affect their personal development.The analysis is conducted from population,grade,gender and residence respectively.With the methods of investigation and interview,this paper is designed to fully understand the network utilization conditions of respondents,analyze the information obtained and come to conclusions so as to provide basis and suggestions for senior high school students to live healthy network lives.This research comes to the following conclusions:1.The network utilization of senior high school students concentrates mainly on junior high school stage when they learn network knowledge and skills from classmates and friends,and most of them use network with mobile phones at home.2.With positive attitudes,senior high school students have achieved the purposes of adjusting their moods,exchange and chatting as well as browsing information through network utilization.3.The network utilization contents are given priority to communication with people;they are good at the skills in using communication and social software and search engines,achieving the results of relieving learning and life stress and obtaining friendship.Based on the above results,this research puts forward the following education suggestions:Schools shall guide students to establish a scientific concept of network utilization;teachers shall guide students to effectively utilize network;families and schools shall unite to create healthy network utilization environment. |
