A hundred years’ plan is based on education.Quality and quantity development of preschool education is an important measure for the country to vigorously develop basic education.Preschool education is the foundation of basic education,kindergarten material environment is an important educational resource of kindergarten education,and kindergarten material environment quality is an important part of kindergarten education quality.The material environment quality of private kindergartens has an important impact on the overall education quality of kindergartens.As the condition quality of kindergarten quality,kindergarten material environment is a static factor of kindergarten education quality.Due to the influence of many factors,the material environment quality of private kindergartens needs to be improved.This study focuses on the physical and environmental quality of private kindergartens in urban and rural areas,and evaluates the physical and environmental quality of private kindergartens in rural and urban areas of S District,Chongqing,through the physical and environmental quality scale of private kindergartens in urban and rural areas,and analyzes the main influencing factors to explore effective promotion path.In this study,the physical and environmental quality of private kindergartens in urban and rural areas mainly includes five dimensions: outdoor environment quality,activity room environment quality,corridor environment quality,wall environment quality and function room environment quality.Outdoor environmental quality includes two elements: site,facility and equipment.The environmental quality of activity room includes five elements: activity room area,activity room ventilation and lighting,activity room area division,activity room material and furniture equipment.The environmental quality of two elements: area and layout;theme wall environmental quality includes five elements: theme,material,layout,decoration and suitability.The environmental quality of functional rooms includes the number of functional rooms and the type of functional rooms.Using the "Evaluation Scale of Material Environmental Quality of Private Kindergarten in Urban-Rural Combination" as the main investigation tool,31 private kindergartens in S District of Chongqing were used as samples to observe non-participation and collect information about material environmental quality.Subsequently,descriptive statistics,single factor ANOVA were used to analyze and process the collected data.Through the interview with the head of the kindergarten and some teachers,the relevant factors affecting the material environment quality of the private kindergartens in the urban and rural areas are collected,and the relevant suggestions are put forward.Through the analysis of the survey results,it is found that the outdoor environment quality,the rationality level of regional planning needs to be improved.space area,number of areas,type of area,type of equipment and facilities,safety and adaptability of equipment and facilities.Activity room environmental quality,ventilation lighting and activity room material safety is at a good level.The new urban area scored the highest,followed by the village community,again the village community gradually changed into the new town zone,and finally the old urban area.Corridor environmental quality is general.Corridor area and corridor layout are at a general level,with little difference.Facilities,equipment,materials provided,the number of outdoor equipment is less but the suitability is high,the overall situation of furniture equipment is better,but the number of game materials needs,and not according to different age groups set up.The theme wall theme,material,layout,decoration,suitability is in the general level,the environmental quality of the functional room is in the general level as a whole,and the material and environmental quality of the between individual gardens is very different.Through the discussion and analysis of the survey results,It is found the related policies and implementation degree of the grass-roots government,the increasing attention of the head of the kindergarten or the kindergarten manager to the material environment of the kindergarten,the ability of preschoolteachers to create the material environment of the kindergarten,the parents’ understanding of the material environment of the kindergarten,and the special situation of the development of individual gardensare the main factors affecting the material environment quality of the private kindergartens in the urban and rural areas.Finally,based on quantitative data and qualitative analysis,this study puts forward some suggestions to improve the material and environmental quality of private kindergartens in urban and rural areas.It mainly includes perfecting the corresponding policies to make the quality of kindergarten material environment develop evenly;kindergarten managers increase their investment in kindergarten material environment;preschoolteachers enhance their ability to create material environment;parents actively enhance their understanding of material environment;Individual gardens accelerate the construction of material environment.
