Research On The Current Situation Of Contemporary College Students' Humanities Reading

In recent years, the research of humanistic reading cause attention by scholars and experts, because although reading as a kind of human activities and cultural phenomenon still exists in contemporary society, but reading form is increasingly generalization, the value of reading being covered, even reading activities increasingly be replaced and forgotten. Reading encounter the danger, the humanities reading is also not exceptional, somebody who calm down and read a few cultural books are much rarer. And college students as a favored one is the hope for the future development of the motherland, reading is their main access to information, reading can help them learn knowledge and complete their studies, humanities reading is the main and the most important way to improve themselves, to improve their own competitiveness, to set up the reasonable values, and to outlook on life and world view. And humanities reading plays an important role in the process of education itself in the cultivation of college students, not only can help college students perfect personality and cultivate innovation ability,but also stimulate individual value into full play, eventually be to the comprehensive development. In the age of the deluge of utilitarianism, the rapid development of network culture, mass culture,as the new social environment and cultural context, has brought the unprecedented challenge to the contemporary college students' humanistic reading.In order to understand the current situation of contemporary college students' humanistic reading, the writer take the research method of combination of questionnaire and interview. The writer takes the present situation of students of five universities in humanities reading as the research object, adopting the method of contrast comparison study school students' humanistic reading in different levels, different schools, different grades of students, students of different gender, different origin. Through collecting effective data from questionnaire survey and interviews, analysis of the number of cognitive and humanistic reading of contemporary university students, the motivation and content of humanities reading, the way of humanities reading, the attitude of humanities reading, the influence factors of humanities reading, the needs of the guidance of humanities reading,the six aspects and so on. From the analysis results can be found that there are many problems in the contemporary college students' humanistic reading, the main of which are insufficient interest in the humanistic reading, the lack of humanities reading depth, humanities reading scope being narrow, humanities reading motives being utilitarian, insufficient humanistic reading atmosphere. Combined with the background of the current era and the characteristics of college students.through analyzing college students'humanistic reading problem,the writer finds that the reason mainly lies in:the erosion of higher professional education system to the college students' humanistic reading, the influence of employment system on college students'humanistic reading, and the impact of the campus network culture and popular culture on college students' humanistic reading digestion. Aiming at the problems of contemporary college students'humanistic reading and the reason, the paper finally puts forward three countermeasures and suggestions to promote the college students' humanistic reading:first, the humanistic reading and general education has certain inner link, so we can improve the status of humanistic reading by general education; Second, the system of professional education in colleges and universities is the main reason for the college students' humanistic reading, but we can also expand humanities reading space through exploring and innovating more effective combination of professional education and humanistic education, so as to improve the status quo of humanistic reading; Third, through the main body, such as the community college students and the university library to abundant campus culture, build humanities reading atmosphere.
