Children are like the holidays, the holiday is the most profound memories of childhood. Festivals can promote the development of young children, the most important is the development of social. Festival as a public space and individual life and collective life of the intersection of the moment, especially in the development of children's social. The festival could meet the needs of children's social psychological, who feel the love and respect from the world; could promote the ability to get along with peers and experience the positive emotions of communication; understand the traditional ethnic culture and experience the rich and colorful traditional culture of, and so on. At the same time, the ceremony, polymerization, emotional upsurge of festival can further strengthen and consolidate the children's social development.So,it is based on the children's social development value of the festival, the kindergarten select the festival as the important content and means to promote children's social development of of. Therefore, this study is based on the festival activities as the starting point to explore the current situation of the social education of children.In this study, two studies were used to investigate the current situation of social education in the festival activities. The research adopts the content analysis method, analyzes the 339 festival activities, and discusses the goal and content of the social education of festival activities in the kindergarten from the whole. In Study two,The research adopts the observation method and interview method, and from September to December 2015the researcher observed deeply the festival education activities at the scene in 4 class of two kindergartens in Nanjing City. The specific analysis of the two festival activities. Understanding the specific development process of social education in the festival activities. Then, combined with the research and research two, the resercher analysis the data of the collation,.forming the first five chapters of the basic content. Finally, based on the analysis of the case in Taiwan, the research and analysis are carried out.The study found that the goal of social education in kindergarten festival activities is more concerned with the transfer of social and cultural knowledge, and has the value tendency of social standard. The contents of social education in the festival activities focus on the organization construction from two aspects of the children and the festival culture. During the festival, the social education is accomplished through the main activities of the festival, the collective activities of the festival, the festival celebrations and so on. The problem is that the social education goal of the festival is neglected in the self development and emotional experience. The phenomenon of the social education content appearing in the festival activities. Conflict between social education process and goal in festival activities". Finally, through the reference and discussion of the case in Taiwan, it is revealed that the social education goal should be set from the children to meet the social development needs of the children. Festival content should pay more attention to the spread of cultural rituals, so that children have a profound experience of culture. Festival process should pay more attention to children's real inner experience, pay attention to children's festival feeling in the festival.
