As a humanities and social science, history should cultivate students' humanistic spirit. Since the implementation of "the eighth reform of basic courses", emotional, attitude and values of three?dimensional target also requires history will cultivate humanistic spirit as their duty. But due to various reasons, the reality of secondary school history classroom appeared the phenomenon of lack of humane spirit cultivation. In 1992, The State Education Commission formally put forward the concept of local courses. Middle school history where rapid development with the support of the policy, but the cultivation of humanistic spirit in it are still not respected.Since 2002, the history curriculum construction of middle school in Liaocheng city has made remarkable achievements. But to cultivate the students' humanistic spirit, there is still lack of obvious phenomenon. This kind of phenomenon, largely because the degree of development and utilization of curriculum resources is not enough, makes the course resources to develop the role of humanistic spirit has not been full play. In addition, a number of factors in real teaching, such as teachers' opinion, scheduling, and examination system also caused a lot of constraints.In 1979, the United States education expert, the curriculum theory expert Eisner(Elliot w. Eisner) puts forward the null curriculum, refers to those who should have but not have in the school curriculum. The phenomenon of lack of humanistic spirit of middle school history course is a kind of the null curriculum. The new society requires us to adjust local humanities history curriculum to adapt the attention of the humanistic spirit, to adjust the factors unfavorable to the humanistic spirit culture.The full paper is divided into five parts. The first part, briefly explains the purpose and significance of studying, and there is null curriculum, local curriculum, the humanistic spirit cultivation research present situation has carried on the comprehensive review. The second part mainly introduces history curriculum construction in the Liaocheng city middle school. The third part, to the local curriculum and the humanistic spirit and curriculum resources, the essay discusses the emergence of the concept and development. The fourth part, the analysis of local history teaching material and the related investigation, cultivating humanistic spirit in Liaocheng city middle school history where missing phenomenon are analyzed. The fifth part, combining actual investigation and practice, tries to explore the lack of humanistic spirit in Liaocheng city middle school history lessons.
