The composition teaching is a very important aspect of Chinese teaching and its aim is training the writing ability of students. The primary stage is the initial and crucial stage of the development of students' writing ability. As a important way of writing evaluation, the comment on composition plays an important role in improving students' writing ability. Comments on composition is teacher's deeper guidance to students' composition, and an comprehensive process of comments on students' writing. It might be several short sentences, or one sentence even a few words. But its importance is self-evident. So it offers explore space to composition teaching. To better the work of comments on composition, we should start with the comment link, making this seems simply work to perfect. I believed that the present situation of composition teaching and students' writing ability will be improved.This paper mainly adopted the documentary method and case analysis method, studied comments on composition and cases of the three to the six grade of Wenyuan primary school, Dongchang District, Liaocheng. Finding and analyzing problems, to explore solutions.This paper is consists of introduction, body and conclusion. The introduction expounds on the reason of choice of paper's title, present research situation, research significance, research method, and defined the concept of "comments on compositions". This paper consists of three chapters. Chapter one, theoretical research about the function and characteristic of the composition notes, for illustrate its importance, independence and value. Meantime, we can illustrate its necessity through analyze the specific characteristic of the elementary student composition notes. Chapter two, by research for the elementary student's situations in their composition notes including the body, surface, content and the number of words, we can find major problems that exist in the notes. Based on analyzed these problems, I have revealed the harmfulness for the teacher, student and education, and further dig out their subjective and objective reasons. To the main problems exist in primary school composition comment, the author looked up relevant information and summarized the experience of writing guidance. In the third chapter, the author puts forward constructive suggestions on the improvement of primary school composition comment from three subjects: teachers, students and schools. The conclusion makes summarize to this paper, and puts forward the hope of comments on composition in primary school.
