With the development of the society and the progress of human civilization, the future society puts forward new requirements for us-for lifelong learning. So, our education has a new goal and requirements, make the students learn, can the people of lifelong learning. This is the requirement of modern education, especially in classroom teaching, must have the plan to develop the students' ability of autonomous learning of mathematics. At the same time, the new standard also explicitly put forward to cultivate students' autonomous learning ability, so as to realize the transition of the "society" to "learn".In this paper, based on the related theory in the pedagogy, psychology, and combining the practice of junior middle school mathematics teaching, explore how to play the subjectivity of the students to learn, through developing inquiry-based learning under the guidance of teachers, fully arouse the enthusiasm of students' subjective initiative and learning. Now, many schools are no longer one-sided emphasis on graduation rates, but want to perfectly combine the exam-oriented education and quality education, play a better teaching effect. So, learning is the product of The Times required. This teaching model not only pay attention to the teacher's "teaching", and attaches great importance to the students "learning", for truly take the student as this, to cultivate the students' ability of autonomous learning of mathematics. The first-line teachers' teaching work also put forward higher requirements, we should not only consider how to teach, and students should consider how to learn.However, in actual teaching, the classroom teaching still exists the phenomenon of polarization. One is traditional classroom teaching, in order to give priority to, the teacher tells the students are not active in learning. Another kind is under the new curriculum reform of classroom teaching, and most only can let the student activities in the public class, the performance of the component is very heavy, students actually did not achieve the desired effect. Therefore, it is necessary to grope for a more conducive to the development of the students teaching mode, and in mathematics learning is focused on effective ways in fostering the students' ability of autonomous learning, which fully reflects the essence of the new curriculum reform. Therefore, in this thesis, the author collected the research achievements of predecessors about the learning case and related theory, and under the guidance of a mentor to junior middle school mathematics learning case teaching model theory to do some research. For half a year's teaching in the school curriculum reform in the contrast experiment, and statistical analysis of experimental results, the following conclusion: under the mode of learning case, the enthusiasm of the junior high school students to learn mathematics, mathematics autonomous learning ability, the math grades have improved, the model can be replicated in ordinary junior middle school mathematics teaching.
