| The problem of balanced development of education equity and compulsory education is a hot topic of people’s livelihood.and the gap between urban and rural education is the focus of social concern.In the rural areas.the economic development is backward.the strength of the teachers is relatively weak,the quality of the students is uneven,the conditions of running schools and other factors restrict the improvement of the quality of English Teaching in rural primary schools.English is the main subject in basic education,under the constraints of the adverse conditions in the rural areas,the quality of teaching has been at a relatively low level,and the quality of English Teaching in primary school than that there is still a big gap.and the gap is growing.With the education equity and the problem of the balanced development of urban and rural compulsory education,many educational experts and scholars have realized the importance of improving the quality of English Teaching in rural primary schools.So the investigation of the current situation of English teaching quality in rural primary school,find out the main problems,mainly analyzes the causes of the problems and proposed the solution existence problem effective,has become an urgent need to complete the task.At present,the research on the quality of English Teaching in primary schools is mostly confined to towns,and the study on the quality of English Teaching in rural areas is still relatively weak,especially the lack of practical investigation of the quality of English Teaching in primary schools.In view of this,in this study 7 urban and rural primary school in Baiyun District of Guangzhou city as an example,in order to improve the quality of English Teaching in rural primary school for the purpose of English teaching quality in Rural Primary School of a series of problems of questionnaire and interviews and classroom observation and final exam situation comparison,find out the existing main problems of urban and rural primary school English teaching quality the analysis of the main reasons to restrict the rural primary school English teaching quality improvement,proposed the effective and feasible countermeasures.This study is divided into four parts.Part one:preface.This paper briefly describes the background and significance of this study,the research on the quality of English Teaching in rural primary schools has been sorted out and analyzed,from which to find the space to study.The purpose and content of this study,the definition of core concepts,the research methods and the heavy and difficult points of the research are introduced.On this basis,we try to construct the framework of this study.The second part:current situation investigation.In order to objectively reflect the real situation between urban and rural primary school English teaching quality,this study selected the Baiyun District of Guangzhou city urban and rural 7 ordinary primary school as the research object,from the status of teachers,teachers in the classroom teaching,students’ perception of English learning,teaching and curriculum resources,the final exam in five aspects of investigation and analysis of the current situation of the urban and rural primary school English teaching quality difference.The third part:the main problem and reason analysis.Based on the urban and rural teachers and students in learning English perception questionnaire;through classroom observation to understand the current situation of urban and rural teachers’classroom teaching;to understand the urban and rural school English teachers’management and other aspects of the situation through interview;analysis of examination paper summarized the two core problems of urban and rural primary school through the final exam data:the present situation of English learning is not ideal the current situation of rural teachers and rural students English teaching is not ideal.Mainly from the aspects of teachers,students,management and other aspects of the problem,to find out the main reasons for the improvement of rural primary school English teaching qualityThe fourth part:countermeasures and suggestions.In view of the existing quality problems of rural primary school English teaching,by strengthening the construction of English teachers in rural primary school,promote professional development;change the traditional teaching concepts,to adapt to the development requirements of the times;optimizing English classroom teaching strategies to stimulate students’interest in learning;optimizing the management of the school,because the school system established management system;strengthen the home school contact the parents,with in learning English.;strengthen intercollegiate exchanges and cooperation,explore countermeasures and suggestions to improve the quality of English Teaching in rural primary school six aspects of educational resources sharing. |
