Rongjun Hospital Social Work Intervention Service

There are a considerable number of disabled soldiers receiving medical rehabilitation and life care in civil administration institutions such as Rongjun hospital.The service for the disabled soldiers is an important part of the social security system in China.It is not only a matter of military and social stability,but also of social harmony and justice.Rong jun hospital has long been focused on the material life support service,and has done less for psychological counseling and spiritual consolation.And the management system is not well organized,policies and regulations lag,staff specialization degree is low.It's rather urgent to introduce new service concepts and methods.Social work intervention will bring new ways to solve these problems.This article first briefly elaborated background and research significance of the selected topic,defined the concept of the disabled soldier and social work.Then it introduces the development of social work services at home and abroad.This article applies the method of case study mainly through the field observation in Y Rongjun hospital.Interviews of the disabled soldier,social worker,caregivers,also questionnaire surveys are included.It concludes the Y Rongjun hospital can improve social work service by bringing the overall service concepts and educating staff.
