Research On The Development Of Ski Tourism Industry In Zhangjiakou Area Under The Background Of Winter Olympics

On July 31,2015,the joint bid of Beijing and Zhangjiakou for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games won the final success.It is an once-in-a-life-time opportunity for the development of general winter tourism industry as well as ski tourism industry in China,especially for Zhangjiakou.Under the background of Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration development,the skiing tourism industry of Zhangjiakou has ushered in a rare development platform and space,which will drive broader and deeper cooperation in various fields between two cities as well as a profound impact on skiing tourism.In today's world,the Olympic Winter Games is the second most influential comprehensive competition after the Summer Olympic Games,which would have a significant impact on the host city to its tourism industry and even the economic development.Based on the analysis of the development of skiing tourism industry of Zhangjiakou which is in the background of Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games and the one of global Olympic Winter Games host cities,the paper puts emphasis on the effective integration of resources,developing high quality tourism products,building up Olympic tourism brand,the overall planning of completed skiing tourism industrial chain,intensifying personnel training as well as sustainable tourism development and so on,and make some suggestions and countermeasures on positively chasing the chance of Olympic Winter Games in China as well as maximize the ski tourism industrial effects,hoping to cause the attention of industrial people and relevant administration to the adjustment of regional industrial structure,improvement of tourism products.By studying the successful and failed cases from other host nations,offering good examples in planning the development in Zhangjiakou,it would help to optimize the favorable promotional force from Olympic Winter Games in the development of regional economy,society and culture.In this paper,it is used the methods of literature reviews,expert interviews,logical analysis and visit survey.The thesis makes a study,with the theory of sports economics,sports industry economics,sports sociology,sports humanities and sociology,sports industry management,tourism and other disciplines as the theoretical guidance,on the development of skiing tourism industry in Zhangjiakou under the background of Olympic Winter Games,which aims to make the relevant departments grasp the opportunity of the Olympics,give full play to the pulling effects of the Winter Olympics on skiing tourism industry,and finally promote the rapid development of the industry in Zhangjiakou.Through analysis and research,there are a few suggestions:(1)To achieve tourism industry development by making effective integration of Olympic resources;(2)To design quality tourist routes under the opportunity of Winter Olympics and build Olympic tourism brand;(3)To emphasis on overall planning and complete the tourism industrial chain;(4)To intensify personnel training and build up training center;(5)To make the sustainable development of tourism industry.And the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Zhangjiakou skiing tourism industry background: extremely obvious location advantage;a solid cultural foundation;strong momentum of development;(2)Zhangjiakou skiing tourism industry resources: the most potential area of developing the natural skiing.China's skiing tourism development conditions are more mature.There is need to upgrade skiing tourism products,and deepen domestic market construction and management;(3)The government should take the examples from other host nations of Olympic Winter Games and make proper policy to integrate the Olympic resources,so to encourage its skiing tourism industry development,with the advantage of the skiing condition,in a good and healthy way.
