Since the advent of the age of knowledge economy,our society has raised higher requirements for college students.In addition to asking for more professional knowledge and skills,it is demanding that college students have stronger practical skills,innovation abilities and scientific literacy.However,because of the basic education,our students didn't get enough training and development.Besides,since students are accustomed to the passive and rote learning way,without guidance and practice,college students are difficult to grow as the new talent,therefore carry out inquiry-based learning in the freshman is an important way for training of new talent.In order to carry out the Project-based learning of junior undergraduates smoothly and to foster them the ability of innovation and practice,with which these students may have strong competitiveness,I took the following steps.First of all,I've started with the history of Project-based learning development,analyzing the status quo in this area and inadequacies in current research.And according to these,I demonstrated the significance and feasibility of conducting exploratory studies in junior undergraduates.Since then,I identified the intension of exploratory studies,made its difference between other similar teaching methods clear,expounded the meaning of conducting exploratory studies in physics science,and analysed its contribution of the cultivation of comprehensive ability of students.In order to better understand the problems that students might have in exploration,I conducted a pre-research study before the formal study.Combined the findings with relevant theories,I set up a series of strategies and put it into practice.In this practice,electromagnetism is the primary knowledge base.Based on the principle of feasibility,interest and value of research topics,15 topics which meets the requirements were selected for the Project-based learning for grade 2015 freshman's inquiry.During the Project-based learning,I managed the students' inquiry activities and the progress of their inquiry by using the network platform,on which I could also slove the problems in their study timely.Through scientific grouping and refinement of research tasks,low-grade undergraduate could arrange their time reasonably,so they could participate in the various research sessions effectively.Besides,I helped students to develop issue consciousness and enabled them to learn basic literature research methods and pathways,by usingthe strategy of the teacher's timely and appropriate guidance and multi angle evaluation strategy.It also improved students' abilities of experimental design,experimental operation and data processing and analysis of scientific research.In this process we made initial realization of the training of scientific literacy in low-grade undergraduates.In this paper,the implementation strategy of inquiry learning and the experience gained in practice will be the best information for me to continue my study on how to guide the inquiry learning in the future.Also,freshman's education is in the transition period from basic education to higher education,students are still retains the characteristics of high school students,therefore I also hope this article can be able to give basic education of inquiry-based learning some experience.
