Early childhood is a critical period of development,and it is also the initial stage of growth in children.Health is individually proposed as one of the five major areas of kindergarten in?The Guidance of 3-6 years old children's Learning and Development?.So it strongly proves the importance of health.Good eating behavior can provide adequate nutrition for young children,and it can also promote the healthy growth of young children.So to it is essential to help children form good eating behavior.Because primary class children are in the lowest stage of physical and mental development,so they are high-plasticity,it's easy to form and develop their good diet behavior.The research objects are the primary class kindergarten children in Dalian.This research was conducted to observe children's eating behavior in kindergarten.Through the collation of observation data and the interviews of teachers and parents to know children's eating situation.From the speed of eating,eating attention,eating rules,eating independence,picky about food or partial eclipse,their emotions,good or bad appetite,eating snack behavior,these eight dimensions to analyze children's eating behavior.To summarize the characteristics of primary class children's eating behavior.And finally put forward strategies to improve primary class children's eating behavior.The research found that primary class children have those following characteristics when they are eating:Eat too fast or too slow.Most children don't focus on their diet.Many of them can eat by themselves.Most children don't obey the rules when they are eating,a small number of children don't obey the rules before or after their eating.Children are picky eaters and they generally have partial eclipse behavior.Children with positive emotion have better eating behavior than those with negative emotion.And the appetite is positively correlated with their eating behavior.According to their eating behavior,researcher proposes the following strategies:To build a suitable kindergarten eating environment.Teachers should use correct food education methods.And parents need to establish a correct eating and drinking concept.Helping children have healthy diet according to the character.To create good social environment for the children.
