This article looks inside the exploitation of local resources in developing approaches and processes of Traditional Chinese Painting course activities.Through the study of “Wenzhou ancient folk dwelling resources”,a primary school-based curriculum devise case,it depicts the specific methods and measurements in exploring school-based Art course,as well as the ways to improve Traditional Chinese Painting teaching.The methods and measurements(based on the above mentioned case study)include: premier collection of local resources,integration of teaching-worthy resources,setting up curriculum goals,devising teaching plans,designing module-based teaching activities(research oriented),edifying school-based Art course handbooks,practicing teaching assessment and evaluation,and modifying relevant materials in accordance with teaching reflection.The ways of improving the course teaching involve: goals-oriented appreciation,depicting the Art language,using multimodal teaching approaches such as: prompt quizzes,assessment reflection,re-practice,partial facsimile,painting sketch and field sketch.The thirth and forth chapters are the major parts of this thesis,describing the editing thoughts and ways of the school-based materials,as well as the scheming of module-based teaching activities and processes.This article also figures out some rudimentary theories to introducing local resources into classroom teaching,such as teaching content should be set as students-oriented,the degree of teaching difficulties should be set in consist with students psychological development level,arts teachers should be given priority in interdisciplinary collaborative teaching activities.This thesis,at the end,points out the difficulties and problems in utilizing local resources in developing school-based art materials and carrying out classroom activities,and consequently suggests some pertinent proposals.
