As the talent competition between countries more and fiercer and curriculum reform gradually thorough,the education department of the emphasis on the quality and ability of students is becoming more and more outstanding.Critical thinking is a very important quality of thinking,is also one of the essential qualities of students to become qualified citizens.Six grade students' minds are now in a critical stage of development,and also the golden age of this age group to develop critical thinking.The western developed countries started early in the 20 th century to the cultivation of critical thinking research,but Chinese scholars contact later,the study also is not very comprehensive,especially in the cultivation of critical thinking in the process of mathematical teaching research is less.This paper mainly studied the two aspects of content: one is the preliminary how students' critical thinking inclination degree level.The second is how to teach to cultivate the students' mathematics critical thinking skills in the six grade mathematics class.For the study of the above two problems,the author made the following work:Firstly,through books and browse the literature at home and abroad,learn about the concept of critical thinking and mathematics critical thinking,research status and training methods.Secondly,understand six grade students critical thinking tendency,designed questionnaire mainly according to the e California critical thinking tendency.Thirdly,carried on the questionnaire survey in a junior high school in Shanghai,draw a six grade students' mathematics critical thinking tendency.Then through face-to-face interviews of students,to understand their true idea behind the questionnaire.Fourth,after the statistical analysis of survey results,draw a six grade students' mathematics critical thinking tendency level shown shortcomings and advantages.Fifth,on the basis of the theory of professor Halpern's critical thinking,according to the mathematical teaching,put forward to develop six grade students' mathematics critical thinking tendency of strategy.Cases,and combining the six grade mathematics teaching,expatiating to cultivate mathematics classroom teaching way of critical thinking skills.Through the questionnaire survey analysis found the following conclusions:(1)six grade students' critical thinking level is stronger,the questionnaire of seven dimensions scores from high to low,the order is: inquisitiveness,analyticity,systematicity,open-mindedness,self-confidence,maturity,truth-seeking.which is higher than the dimension of the average dimension has inquisitiveness analyticity,,systematicity,open-mindedness,below is self-confidence,maturity,seeking attributed to dimension.(2)in order to cultivate students' critical thinking tendency found the following strategies: create a relaxed classroom atmosphere,always encourage students,increase the students to communicate.(3)with the help of a case in this paper,which in order to cultivate students' critical thinking skills.after the cultivation of student's mathematics critical thinking found students' thinking improved,analysis and reflection ability improved,and has a better ability for dealing information.
