The oral narrative ability of young children is a kind of linguistic ability that is detached from the context,which is of great significance to the all-round development of young children.The oral narrative ability of preschool children is not only an important criterion for oral expression ability of preschool children,but also an important indicator of the language ability of preschool children.The research uses action research method,observation method and interview method to explore the methods and strategies of cultivating children's oral narrative ability through practical teaching,the research provides some reference for preschool teachers' narrative teaching.The author uses the wordless picture book "frog,where are you?" to collect children's oral narrative information,then analyzes it and understand the level of children's oral narrative,also uses interviews,observation to know teachers knowledge about narrative,teaching conditions and the confusion what they face.The author and the class teachers form a research cooperation group,make activity plans,carry out the plans,then reflect,adjust,and practice.Through practice and reflection,the research team members sum up the strategies and methods of oral English narrative teaching.Combined the kindergarten schedule,the research explores the different types of oral narrative activitiesstory reading activities,the narrative links of comprehensive activities,scientific exploration discovery activities-"my discovery" narrative,"baby interesting" narrative activities,"my weekend"-a narrative report in which parents play the importent role.These activities are arranged in teaching time,outdoor time,transition time.In the activities of organizing children's oral narrative,the researchers sum up the teaching strategies which cultivate children's oral narrative ability:(1)create narrative scene and to provide children narrative material;(2)use children's time reasonably,give everyone opportunity;(3)find children's interests,and stimulate the enthusiasm of children narrative;(4)encourage parents support children narrative.In addition,this study puts forward some educational suggestions for teachers to promote the development of children's oral narrative ability in daily teaching:(1)focus on cultivating children's "listening" ability-to insert wings for narrative;(2)provide all kinds of books which cultivate children's oral narrative ability(3)observation is the basis for teachers to guide the narrative;(4)provide a supportive environment for children's narrative.
