Based on SOLO classification theory,this study paper analyses the ability structure of physical college entrance examination papers concerned with 10 volumes,including the 2016 national volume I and volume II,the national volume III,Beijing volume,Tianjin volume,Shanghai volume,Jiangsu volume,Zhejiang volume,Sichuan volume and Hainan volume.The ability structure data of different test papers are obtained.From the study of these data,we find that the physical examination of the national volume I and volume II,Beijing volume,Tianjin volume,Shanghai volume,Jiangsu volume,Zhejiang volume,Sichuan volume college entrance examination cover four levels of SOLO.These papers have obvious SOLO gradients and grades and broaden the distribution range of the test ability.Therefore these papers can distinguish the different levels of students and have a good selection function.R-level test is of larger proportion in these following paper: the 2016 national volume I and volume II,the national volume III,Beijing volume,Tianjin volume,Zhejiang volume,Sichuan volume and Hainan volume.Questions at the R-level not only require students to have a correct memory of a number of knowledge points,but also demand students to link the information given in the topic and the correct knowledge points organically.In addition,these questions need a holistic understanding and a macro grasp.Besides,these questions mainly examine the ability of students to integrate multiple knowledge points and comprehensive analysis.U-level exam is of larger proportion in Shanghai volume.Because Shanghai volume has bigger quantity,it is necessary to try to pay more attention to investigate the comprehensiveness of students' knowledge and understanding of the basic knowledge and pay attention to the basic concepts and rules.The 2016 national volume I and volume II,the national volume III,Beijing volume,Jiangsu volume,Zhejiang volume,and Hainan volume mainly investigate mechanics and electromagnetism.And R-level test is of larger proportion in these papers.In addition,they also pay attention to examine students' ability of integrating the knowledge of mechanics and electromagnetism.The knowledge sections of Beijing volume,Tianjin volume and Shanghai volume are more extensive.But they are mainly based on mechanics and electromagnetism.R-level test accounts for a large proportion in the nation volumes I,II and III and Hainan volume whether it is subjective question or objective questions.R-level test is of large proportion in the subjective questions of Beijing volume,Tianjin volume,Shanghai volume,Jiangsu volume,Zhejiang volume and Sichuan volume which mainly examine the ability of students to integratemultiple knowledge points and comprehensive analysis.U-level test is of large proportion in the objective questions of these papers which mainly test the understanding of the basic knowledge and the basic concepts and rules.Compared with the paper in 2015,the proportion of U-level test of Shanghai volume increased in 2016.And the proportion of M-level and R-level test of Shanghai volume decreased.E-level test of Shanghai volume didn't appear whether it is in 2015 or in 2016.Because Shanghai volume has bigger quantity,it is necessary to try to pay more attention to investigate the comprehensiveness of students' knowledge and understanding of the basic knowledge and pay attention to the basic concepts and rule.The proportion of U-level test and M-level test of the national volume I and Tianjin volume decreased,and the proportion of R-level test increased significantly.With regard to E-level test,the proportion remains unchanged in Tianjin volume and increased in the national volume I.Tianjin volume and the national volume I pay more attention to students' ability to integrate knowledge points organically and comprehensive analysis.Besides,the overall requirements of the test for students' ability level improved.
