The Shanghai standard for ideology subject mentions that “in the implementation of various courses,importance should be attached to the shift of students' learning mode and stress should be laid on the practice and exploration activities in such a subject”.The section of “Practice and Exploration” in textbook compilation follows this requirement,which is also an approach to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning of the junior middle school ideology subject.However,as teachers do not attach importance to the “Practice and Exploration” course and the course implementation is not highly effective,the use efficiency of this section is not quite satisfactory.This article uses fifteen activities on “Practice and Exploration” in eight textbooks of junior middle school ideology of Shanghai,through research and analysis,classification and arrangement,provides specific strategies for teaching implementation,as well as approaches of teaching implementation for the in-class and off-class practices of the ideology subject and helps the students better understand and use the textbook knowledge,thus playing a role for enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning of the ideology subject.The research in this article on the teaching and learning of the “Practice and Exploration” course of junior middle school ideology includes the following four parts:Part ? includes introduction,which explains the proposal of the teaching and learning problem of the “Practice and Exploration” course of the junior middle school ideology,the current domestic and overseas research,the concept definition,the theoretical basis,the research significance and methodologies,and lays a theoretical basis for the teaching and learning of the “Practice and Exploration” course of junior middle school ideology.Part ? explores the significance of the “Practice and Exploration” course of junior middle school ideology,which closely combines the students' life and the book contents,attaches importance to the learning and practice the capabilities of students,and integrates the knowledge,the capability,the emotional attitude,the value and objective.Part ? is the design for the teaching and learning of the “Practice and Exploration” course of junior middle school ideology.Teaching and learning design is determined on the basis of the thinking order of the students' acquisition of knowledge,which generally can be classified into: learning students' original knowledge reserve and their understanding of the course-related problems;establishing teaching and learning goals and approaches;reasonably organizing teaching and learning contents,and selecting appropriate teaching and learning measures and methods according to the students' conditions.Part ? is the teaching and learning implementation of the “Practice and Exploration” course of junior middle school ideology.The author practices according to the specific real conditions of the students in his school,and develops a set of specific operating process by generalization,reflection,refinement and summary: creating the teaching situations and stimulate interest in exploration;stimulating problem consciousness and develop exploratory activities;with reasonable division of group work,bringing into play the maximum resultant force;preparing for and guarantee smooth proceeding of activities;conducting cooperation,communication and sharing,and presenting research results;attaching importance to process and result,conduct overall and multi-dimensional comments,and analyzing and reflecting on the process and result of the “Practice and Exploration” course of junior middle school ideology.
