The Practical Study Of The Abilities Of The Second-year Students' Physics "hypothesis And Conjecture"

Following the implementation of the phase two curriculum reform in Shanghai,it becomes critical for Physics to advocate exploring curriculum and researching study,and to foster the middle school students' ability of Assumption and Guess.Students of Class 7 just touch Physics,which is the important branch of science.They are quite curious but not concentrated enough.They are willing to attempt,express themselves,and innovate,but their logical thinkin g needs to be improved.Facing such a group,teachers should base on students' interests,help them establish scientific attitude,and activate their potential innovation and foster their ability of Assumption and Guess.Teachers should encourage students to assume and to guess questions and phenomena from different points of view.Give them more support and help to their exploration and research.This thesis brings the strategy of fostering the ability of Assumption and Guess into the curriculum of Class 7.It mainly uses the methodology of researching bibliography,questionnaires,interviewing,and testing.By the practical activities of middle school Physics in fostering the ability of Assumption and Guess,we evaluate the teaching result,study its effec t to students' scores and researching capability,and draw the conclusion.Part 1.Introduction.Introduce the background and the significance of the research,the relative concepts,the global research situation and result.Systematically state the relat ive theoretical foundation.Part 2.The design and implementation of the research.Basing on the features and status of Class 8 Physics,design the questionnaire of the ability of Class 7 students' Physics Assumption and Guess,do the survey,obtain the data and analyze.Part 3.Basing on the survey,schedule the strategy of fostering the ability of Class 7 students' Physics Assumption and Guess.Part 4.Practical research to the ability of the Class 7 students' Physics Assumption and Guess.State the principle of the ability fostering,experimental purpose,testee selecting,and experimental design.Obtain the result to this experiment by pre-test,case practice,and the after-test analysis.Part 5.Research result and outlook.Summarize this research result.Summarize and introspect the shortage of this research,and raise its outlook.
