Specialization of teachers’ teaching in colleges and universities, its foothold to education quality of college teachers.With the enrichment and diversification of functions of colleges and universities, many colleges and universities began to go with the flow with an unclear positioning, forgetting the teachers for the existence of a "knowledge communicator",forgetting the importance of education to the social development in the future. Look around the world, the increasingly rapid development of science and technology, the increasingly complicated international environment and national competition, there is no doubt about the development of the education in China is more stringent. Education quality is the last line of defense that we need to stick to. Back home, the popularization of higher education has entered the stage of development; the number of students increased quickly; the teachers problem increasingly prominent; the difficulty of education management is increasing. So how to guarantee the education quality of colleges and universities is the valuable topic in today’s education.Teachers in colleges and universities is the elite in education, the front-line workers to ensure the quality of education in colleges and universities.Improving the level of university teachers’ teaching professional, will be the most direct one to improve the quality of education. This study was conducted in 189 college teachers of a normal university in Shandong province, according to current situation of the school teachers’ teaching. The survey found 50.79% of the teachers said its "power shortage" of teaching professional development, The phenomenon of "Paying attention to scientific research light teaching" is very serious in colleges and universities. Teaching quality is difficult to secure. Therefore, this article starts from the teaching professional development of teachers in colleges and universities, calling on the country to pay attention to the teaching work in colleges and universities, for the purpose of promoting teachers’ teaching ability and level in colleges and universities.This study have five parts altogether.The first part is the introduction, including the reason of selecting this topic, the literature review both at home and abroad, research methods and related concepts; The second part introduces the theoretical basis of specialization in college teachers, including teachers’ professional development theory and the theory of Constructivism; The third part is the present situation of university teachers’ teaching quality, respectively, making a investigation on the university teachers’ career cognitive, comprehensive quality of teaching, teaching, scientific research, the basic situation of training and we have made the analysis of the data; The fourth part mainly revealed some questions in university teachers’ specialization, analyzing the problems of pre-service teachers and in-serve teachers. The fifth part put forward the corresponding ways and suggestions to the teaching specialization of teachers in colleges and universities, respectively from the theoretical level, practical level and individual level.
