Research On The Training Program Of Physical Education Major In Normal Universities In Shandong Province

After the formal establishment of Physical education major in 1988,the training scheme has been successively revised 4 times in 1988,1993,1998 and 2012.The number of regular institutions of higher learning which has set up physical education has increased by 33.2%,to313 in 2013,compared with the number 205 in 2005.Physical education develops steadily with the characteristic "long history of school running,large number of stations and quantity".Training scheme is a guidance document of talent cultivation for talent cultivation institute and is the fundamental guarantee of quality training.The scientific and reasonable characteristic of talent scheme will directly influence the quality of the talent training,which will reflect more if the talent will be suitable for economic and social requirements.The study of the training scheme will provide the theory support for the reasonable setup of training scheme and meeting the requirements of social needs of the talents.This paper uses the literature material law,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,expert interview and logical analysis,combining the curriculum plan in 2003 to do analysis of the curriculum target,specification and curriculum setup of the training scheme of physical education major in Qufu Normal University,Shandong Normal University and Qilu Normal University,aiming to find the characteristics and exist problems of the training scheme in normal regular institutions of higher learning in Shandong province at present and put forward the corresponding optimization strategy.The results showed that:1.The basic plate of the training scheme in three normal universities is consistent,but their overall frameworks are different and some proper nouns have differences from each other.The training objectives cover a broad range,which tends to be homogeneous,but with different locations.Qufu Normal University regards the talent as "compound talents";Shandong Normal University regards the talent as the "applied talents" who are qualified for the school physical work;Qilu Normal University regards the talent as the "applied talents" and "applied qualified teachers".2.The setup of the curriculum in three normal universities in Shandong province is found to generally meet rules of state’s curriculum setup.Shandong Normal University,compared to the other two universities,pays more attention to students general elective curriculum,professional electives,and pays more attention to enabling student develop their own abilities according to their own interests;Qufu Normal University,compared to the other two universities,pays more attention to the study of teacher education compulsory curriculum and is more inclined to the education on PE teachers;and Qilu Normal University,compared to the other two universities,pays more attention to students’ general compulsory curriculum,professional compulsory curriculum,and pays more attention to the cultivation of the students basic knowledge.3.The training nature is not prominent,without the characteristics of normal universities.It is not reasonable to set up the curriculum like this,and the credit allocation of the teacher’s education curriculum,the theory of theoretical practice curriculum and selective curriculum are limited.As to the special curriculum,three universities open during junior period,which cannot guarantee the student to master special skills.There is lacking balance of practical teaching,which cannot meet the requirements of the students’ teaching practice.4.Three normal universities in Shandong province should exactly pinpoint their own school nature when making the training scheme to highlight the characteristics of normal nature.Normal universities should cultivate specialized and versatile talents and give priority to cultivating the primary and middle school teachers.The curriculum should catch the trend of the social development and should be adjusted as per actual situation,properly increasing teacher education curriculum and elective curriculum.It is suggested to attach great importance to the students’ practice and increase students’ practice teaching arrangement to avoid the imbalance between theory and practice.
