Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Public Physical Education In Chongqing Electromechanical Vocational And Technical College

Private higher vocational colleges take greatly important roles in Chinese vocational education system,which aim to cultivate highly skilled technicians who have to be healthy in their positions.So PE is indispensable to them.By May 30 th,2016,there have been 40 higher vocational colleges in Chongqing,18 of which are private,approximately occupying 45%.Most of private higher vocational colleges in Chongqing,however,have short histories,which causes the work of PE are often superficial and problematic.The general PE teaching in Chongqing Electromechanical Vocational Institute,where the author teaches,are very typical among Chongqing's private higher vocational colleges.The methods of document literature,questionnaire,mathematical statistics,etc.are taken by the author to investigate the actualities of general PE teaching in Chongqing Electromechanical Vocational Institute and analyze the infrastructures,teaching staff,PE teaching,reformations,managements and so on there.On some problems at present,the relevant solutions and advice are also brought forward to provide some references to the development of general PE teaching in Chongqing's private higher vocational colleges.The following conclusions are drawn by the author.From zero,the general PE teaching in Chongqing Electromechanical Vocational Institute grows step by step to some achievement with its own development.But it has to be undoubtedly acknowledged that problems such as lack of fund,field and equipment,teaching staff with unscientific structure on their majors,degrees,ages and professional titles,low energy for PE teaching constructions and reformations,teaching management system without effective rewards and punishment mechanism have to be treated and solved seriously.Meanwhile,extracurricular sport activities are insufficient and monotonous;a long-termed effective system for the constructions and developments of students' sport societies or associations are not formed yet.The problems above,to some extent,have been restricting the improvement of students' health and having a negative effect on the entire education system of thatcollege,which should have been attached enough importance to.There is still a long and rough way for the general PE teaching in Chongqing Electromechanical Vocational Institute.From now on,a further and further reformation and development on general PE teaching is greatly necessary to the college.Huge efforts should obviously be paid to enrich the field and equipment according to the national standards,add enough teaching staff and build an efficient system to ensure a continuous and healthy development for general PE teaching in Chongqing Electromechanical Vocational Institute by the end of the 13 th Five Year Plan of China.The testing system based on National Student Physical Health Standard should be improved and enhanced;the assessment system of PE work should also be more scientific and normative;an efficient PE work system led by the institute,cooperated with relevant departments and devoted by all staff should be formed preliminarily.
