Mathematics education should not only make students master the knowledge and skills needed in modern life and study,but also play an irreplaceable role in cultivating people's thinking ability and innovative ability.[1] Abstract logical thinking is the core of mathematical thinking and an important part of personal qualities.When the students in Junior high school learn and apply mathematics to solve the problem,they will go through a series of thinking process such as abstraction,generalization,analysis and synthesis,deduction,induction,symbolic representation,spatial imagination,build mathematical model,search results and problem solving.These processes have helped students form clear abstract reasoning rules gradually and developed abstract logical thinking ability.Therefore,the study on students' abstract thinking structure and the function and process of formation,existing problems and the law of development in junior high middle school has an important significance in exploring the mathematics teaching strategies and improving the quality of education and teaching and further promoting the curriculum and teaching reform of basic education.This topic based on education,psychology will develop in the way of solid evidence with the help of modern curriculum theory,mathematics thinking,mathematical thought and methodology,mathematics teaching theory.It will be studied by using literature analysis,questionnaires and other methods.The main research contents are as following:First,the difficulties of the abstract thinking will be explained theoretically by using the literatural analysis method.It mainly analyses the conceptof the difficulties of abstract thinking,the relations between abstract thinking and several thinking,characteristics of the difficulties of abstract thinking,the roles of the abstract thinking in students' mathematics learning in junior high school and theoretical basis of this study.Secondly,it will discuss the mechanism for the formation of the difficulties of the abstract thinking in the students' mathematics learning process on the basis of the abstract thinking theory and practical research by the Piaget's cognitive development theory,the construction principle mathematics teaching view and quality education in mathematics teaching view.The author according to the research of the structure of thinking,according to the students' thinking features in junior high school and the characteristics of mathematics learning in junior high school,divides roughly junior high school students' t difficulties of abstract thinking of the formation process of rough as following:(1)experience abstract thinking stage,namely with the stage of the abstract experience of the subject;(2)the theory abstract thinkingstage,which is in the form of a clear logical abstraction.The author will analyze preliminarily the reasons of the difficulties of the abstract thinking.Thirdly,the author randomly selecte some junior high school students and learned about the junior high school students in mathematics learning abstract thinking and the existence of difficulties by taking the research methods of questionnaire survey.Through the statistical analysis,it draws the conclusion: first,junior high school students' cognitive deficiencies lead to difficulties in abstract thinking.It is difficult for junior high school students to monitor now consciously,plan the future and effectively control their own thinking and learning process because of their age,physical and mental development limitations.All these make their abstract thinking difficult.Second,junior high school students can't be suitable to the objects in the process of the study because of their limitations of learning development stage.Because of cognitive process of the main assimilation and adaptation of the process of interaction,it is difficult to make a balance,make the cognitive structure construction process imperfect.This also leads to the abstract thinking difficult.Meanwhile,the development of abstract thinking in mathematics learning of junior middle school students in different grades and between male and female students are showing the characteristics of imbalance.The development of the third grade of junior middle school students abstract thinking gradually mature.The quality and the methods and ways of thinking goes steady.The thinking of the subject can get rid of the specific things into the image,has the characteristics of clear logic form of abstraction,generalization,analysis,synthesis,induction and deduction of general theoretical thinking stage,and begin to dynamic dialectical thinking transition;[2] the first grade students in junior high school are still in the pre-matured stage of the development of abstract thinking.The specific image thinking in composition still plays an important role in this period.The thinking activities often have not formed a clear Abstract Rules of reasoning,so the students need to carry out problem-solving and other mathematical thinking activities by virtue of the experience of the subject.Finally,based on the second chapter of junior high school students abstract thinking formation and developed research and according to the third chapter on the causes of difficulty in abstract thinking in junior high school students with math learning questionnaire results analysis and junior high school mathematics discipline characteristics,the author draws the causes of difficulty in abstract thinking and how topromote teaching strategies for the development of students' abstract thinking combining with summarizing some theories in the course of the study and the years of junior high school mathematics teaching experience and reflections,consisting mainly : the concept of teaching,comprehensive and practical teaching,application of modern information technology aided teaching,investigation,experiment,operation teaching.
