Nowadays,the addition of participating the basic courses of the mainstream schools,more and more students,especially primary and secondary school students,need to spend a lot of time and money participating in various kinds of extracurricular remedial classes after school or on holidays.They do this for "do not lose at the starting line",this activity is called "Shadow Education"."Shadow Education",to a certain extent,not only meets the needs of students of different levels of learning,but also plays a role in the care of children,shares part of the responsibility of family education.However,in the process of "Shadow Education",there are a variety of problems such as management confusion and educational concept bias,which make us have to treat "Shadow Education" rationally,and to play its positive role,which is complementary to basic education.Improve the management and supervision mechanism of "Shadow Education",return to the nature of education,correctly see the participation of teachers in the "Shadow Education" behavior,do not let "Shadow Education" replace the family education.The introduction part of this study includes: research origin,research review and research methods.The text is divided into four parts: the concept and development of "Shadow Education”,why “Shadow Education” happened,the problems in the development process,the value of "Shadow Education " and the improvement of " Shadow Education ".The first part discusses the concept and development of "Shadow Education".First of all,from the international and domestic aspects of basic education to research the concept of "Shadow Education";From the region and the scale,content and intensity,form,object four aspects of "Shadow Education" in China and abroad to discuss the development situation.The second part discusses the causes,necessity and significance of "Shadow Education".From the external environment,demand and supply,three aspects,including the basic education and policy aspects,social and cultural environment,school,teachers,parents,individual students and other aspects to analyze the causes of "Shadow Education".The third part studies the problems in the process of "Shadow Education".On December 27,2016,the Chinese Society for Educational Research conducted a seminar on the "Seminar on the Exploration and Practice of Teachers' Professional Norms of Counseling Institutions and the Seminar on the Current Situation of the Survey and Practice of Teachers and Counseling Institutions in 2016".Released industry and counseling institutions teacher status quo investigation report,began to pay attention to extracurricular tutors professional promotion,made market norms of teaching and supervision.The problems among them are mainly due to the lack of systematic supervision in the process of marketization of "Shadow Education",the obvious bias of educational values and utilitarianism,the dissonance of cooperation in the classroom leads to the tension between teachers and students,the increase of students' physical and psychological burden which are not conducive to all-round development of the students,leave family education squeeze the "Shadow Education",make parent-child relationship alienated.The fourth part is based on the above research,and recognizes that "Shadow Education" also has its value,especially for the development of basic education has its certain value."Shadow Education" can complement the mainstream education,to a certain extent,to meet the additional needs of students,"Shadow Education" can also play a part of the role of family education.In recognition of the value of "Shadow Education",especially for the value of basic education,on the one hand to promote the "shadow education" self-healthy and orderly development,on the other hand also improve the "Shadow Education" to make it play a role in promoting the mainstream of basic education.First of all,to rationally view the "Shadow Education",to recognize the negative impact it brings,but also should see the "Shadow Education" positive role,combined with their own reality,do not blindly follow the trend;Secondly,to establish and improve the "Shadow Education" management and supervision mechanism,so that the "Shadow Education" in the process of market-oriented orderly development;In addition,we should pay attention to the "Shadow Education" educational concept bias problem,education is to promote the comprehensive development,independent thinking and the ability to live independently of students,cultivate interest,play the subjectivity and personal expertise,to develop a dynamic process of sound personality,and can not be seen as a tool to achieve the purpose of narrow utilitarian,education must return to nature;To correctly treat the participation of teachers in the "Shadow Education",and should distinguish the teachers who go after the pecuniary interests deliberately not complete their work from those who make a distinction between part-time and have devoted wholeheartedly to their own work,but also pay attention to the identification of the teacher identity problem in the stage of basic education;Finally do not let the "Shadow Education" instead of family education,the role of great importance to our parents,not let "Shadow Education" squeeze time and space of family education,pay more attention to developing healthy personality of children.
