The master's degree education belongs to the higher education of our country.Compared with the undergraduates,the graduate students not only should have higher capabilities in the professional learning and research but also more emphasis on individual learners in the professional growth and development of investment.The degree of acceptance and recognition of the individual's emotional and psychological acceptance to the major of the study directly affects the individual's professional learning attitude and professional career development.Therefore,the research on the professional identity of college students has gradually become a hot research topic in the field of education,which has been highly concerned by experts and scholars.We focus on the graduate students who are in the "embarrassing discipline".Compared with the students of the "hot majors",the status of the professional identity of the group is more worrying and worth considering.Study on public management in Colleges in Guizhou Province under the first level discipline master students as the research object.Based on the analysis of the relevant literature,reacher divide four dimensions of professional identity level of postgraduates to measure,including professional cognition,professional emotion,professional behavior investment and professional evaluation.Secondly,investigation use interviews,a questionnaire survey and correlation statistics to sum up the status of professional identity and different demographic differences in the level of professional identity and the various dimensions of the characteristics.Thirdly,the author tries to analyze the reasons of influencing the level of professional identity from internal and external aspects.Finally,according to the above contents,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the level of professional identity of the students from the two angles of the graduate students and the training units.The paper draws some conclusions.Firstly,the overall level of professional identity of public management discipline in Guizhou province is in the low level.Second,the overall level of postgraduate professional identity of public management in Guizhou province and the level of each dimension in different demographic variables such as gender,grade,students volunteer and there are significant differences.Thirdly,the level of professional identity of full-time postgraduates in public management discipline in Guizhou province will be influenced by the individual factors,the objective situation of discipline development,the professional learning environment and the important others.Fourthly,there is a significant correlation between the level of professional identity and academic achievement.The formation of a good professional identity is also helpful for graduate students to find the meaning and value of professional learning.
