With the continuous development and implementation of the new curriculum reform, people gradually realize that the key factors that affect and restrict the reform and development of education and teaching are teachers. On this basis, the educational reform of all countries in the world began to put teacher education in an important position. Since the concept of "teacher professional development" was formally put forward, the academic circles have reached a consensus on that beginning teacher is a necessary stage and critical period of every teacher's professional development. However, from the perspective of the current growth condition of the beginning teachers, they have a certain degree of unfamiliar, neglect and even misunderstanding to the textbook text of the subject that they are teaching in the early stage of entry. Which will not only hinder the process of beginning teachers' professional development, but also lead to the inefficiency of teaching and learning.According to the above phenomenon, this study with the core attributes of the comprehension of textbook text, chooses a beginning teacher to be appointed as the research object. Then it shows the process of the development of their comprehension in textbook text in the teaching practice,and attempts to reveal the influential factors and feasible ways of its development. I have the chance to use a year's time to experience the Chinese primary school beginning teachers' life,during which many things about the comprehension of textbook text has left me a deep impression.In order to make more new teachers able to gain some insights and inspiration from my story, to describe the nature and significance of phenomena in the natural situation, to form detailed material, and then to present my experience most completely and veritably, the author chooses the narrative research, which is a kind of qualitative research method. Hoping to make readers to be"self-participation” and then aware by meaning interpretation, so that more new teachers will be able to get some gnosis and inspiration, through presenting of the stories of my own experience.Therefore, I am a researcher, but also the narrator in the study.This study narrated ten stories happened to me about comprehending Chinses textbooks text as a substitute teacher during the internship, tries to fully show the real scene of a beginning teacher's teaching life via linguistical description. Through restructuring and text meaning, the author thinks that the course of own comprehension of textbook text can be summarized as four stages, that is the absence of perception to the consciousness germination, then to clear ideas,finally the practice to design. This study attempts to give the theoretical attention and reflection on the problems and situation that encountered in the process of comprehension development, and then the author draws the following conclusion:(1)the beginning teachers' comprehension development of textbook text is the outcome of internal and external interaction, including the internal factors such as individual personality, education idea, knowledge structure, the spirit of reflection, and the external factors such as characteristics of students, teacher groups, trust environment;(2)setting up self-development consciousness, teaching reflection, imitation, and collective training are effective ways to promote the development of comprehension.Based on this study,in consideration of the important link between beginning teachers'professional development and pre-service education, in order to promote the development of the comprehension in textbooks text, the author suggested that the pre-services normal education stage should focus on the following three aspects:(1)Normal students need to confirm their self-positioning,and develop positive and proactive professional development willingness during school;(2) Normal colleges and universities help students to improve their knowledge structure by setting up curriculum,especially the accumulation of teaching practice knowledge;(3)On the author's experience of completing this research,encouraging normal students to learn to do educational narrative research,and paying attention to personal growth.
