Scientific model methods have been widely used in modern natural science and social science,it is a commonly used tool of scientific research and scientific education.Though model method has its place in the science class of elementary school,meanwhile the teachers hardly have relevant reflection and research consciousness about this kind of teaching method,studies associated with model teaching are few.Thus,current situation and countermeasures on the use of the model methods in the elementary school science study has great realistic significance and theoretical value.This research aims to investigate the use of modeling methods in the daily teaching of primary schools' science class,which can be divided into three smaller topics:First,the statics and analyze of model activities in the textbook;Second,choose proper group of teacher and students and investigate them with questionnaire and interviews;Third,analyze the teaching case,and sum up some conclusions about model teaching.According to the research,certain facts have been discovered:First,through text analysis,the science textbooks of primary school(Jiangsu Education Press)is filled with model activities,which have a deep influence in the daily teaching held by teachers;Second,the modeling methods haven't applicate well in the class,there are many obstacles strangled this progress;The third,the modeling abilities of students are decent,which could be held against some opinions of teachers.Fourth,in view of the research above,the careful design of teaching progress is demanded in the modeling method teaching,which should be the primary task of teachers.According to the issues fund,this study comes four Suggestions:first,requirements of model teaching must be written into the curriculum standards and science books;Second,the experience abroad and internet resources should be considered by teachers;Third,it is necessary for teachers to improve their abilities and conscious about model.And the last,school should provide resources to support model teaching.
