High school ideological politics is a collection of knowledge, emotion, ability, and the training objectives of the discipline knowledge are mainly about target, capacity target and emotional attitude values. As important part of cultivating students' political quality, it can not only make students obtain political knowledge and improve students ability to participate in social practice,which can help students form the correct values of life.It will always combine the emotional teaching with high school ideological and political classroom teaching, which is helpful to promote the students' cognitive ability and emotional function of common development, and thus help the students form the good emotion quality and always keep positive attitude of learning. So high school ideological and political teachers, in the practice of the politics teaching, that should pay attention to the use of emotional teaching method, satisfy the requirement of new curriculum reform teaching ideas.At the same time,we should improve traditional ideals,knowledge is more important than feelings and grades are more important than moral education,through giving play to the role of emotional factors in the emotional teaching and meet the needs of students in the emotional aspects,prompting students theoretical knowledge and ability to improve and the progress of the students'emotion, attitude, values, etc. The teaching efficiency of political lessons can be improved.In the process of research,it is mainly based on basic connotation, characteristics and value of high school ideological and political teaching process. We should deeply analyze current problems and causes of high school ideological and political teaching, and combined the content of"cultural life" specific discussion on the implementation of emotional teaching methods in order to improve the teaching efficiency of senior high school students.
