Culture,as a spiritual force,is an intangible asset of a nation and a country,which is related to the future and destiny of the whole nation and country.General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized the important role of culture on many occasions,especially in the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the CPC,it was definitely pointed out that: “Culture is the soul of a country and a nation.The prosperity of culture makes the country prosperous,while the strength of culture makes the nation strong.Without high cultural self-confidence and cultural prosperity,there will be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.” Cultural self-confidence is the quality that every Chinese son and daughter should possess,and it is also the righteousness that we should go to the center of the world stage with an exalted attitude.High school political lesson bears the important responsibility of cultivating students' cultural self-confidence with its subject characteristics.therefore,how to scientifically and effectively develop classroom and extracurricular education resources and innovate teaching forms to enhance students' cultural self-confidence is the focus of every educator engaged in high school politics teaching.In view of collecting and consulting lots of documents at home and abroad,understanding the latest political information and making a thorough analysis of it,combining with practical educational and teaching experience,this paper takes textbook Cultural Life as an example to explain the relevant content of cultural self-confidence,and tries to explore specific ways to help high school students cultivate cultural self-confidence in political lessons.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction part elaborates the background and significance of this study,the research status at home and abroad,research methods and innovations.The main body includes the following contents:Firstly,this paper gives a theoretical overview of the cultivation of students' cultural self-confidence in high school political lessons.It discusses the source andconcept of cultural self-confidence,the basic requirements of high school students' cultural self-confidence and the significance of cultivating students' cultural self-confidence in high school political lessons.Secondly,combined with the questionnaire surveys of Senior Two Students of No.1 Senior Middle School in Dalian Free Trade Zone,along the four levels of knowledge,emotion,will and action,it is found that high school students' cultural self-confidence has problems of insufficient cultural awareness,low enthusiasm for revolutionary culture,blind recognition of foreign culture and poor enthusiasm for cultural activities.From the perspective of political lessons in senior high school,the reasons for the problems of cultural self-confidence of senior high school students are as follows: unclear goal orientation of cultivating cultural self-confidence,inadequate development of teaching contents,outdated teaching methods of cultivating cultural self-confidence,and fewer types of cultural activities in and out of class.Thirdly,based on the textbook of Cultural Life,this paper explores the specific countermeasures to cultivate students' cultural self-confidence from four aspects:teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching methods and cultural activities participation,namely,defining the classroom teaching objectives of cultural self-confidence,integrating the teaching contents of cultural self-confidence,expanding classroom teaching methods that help to enhance cultural self-confidence,and developing various ways to enhance culture self-confident activities.The conclusion part summarizes the research results of this paper and looks forward to the future prospects of cultivating students' cultural self-confidence in high school political lessons.
