| Mathematical operation ability is one of the three basic abilities of mathematics,and it is also one of the major influential factors of students in math.More than half ofthe subjects in the college entrance examination need to use mathematical operation,mathematical operation has also been the focus of the college entranceexamination.But with the mathematics teaching in the high school in recent years,theauthor found that high school students mathematical operation ability exists someproblems.Mainly manifests in the following aspects,high school students solvingmathematics generally is not high,the development of the operational ability alsoappears unbalanced state,the understanding of the importance of operational ability isnot enough,some students do not develop good operation habit,lack of operationalskills,psychological quality is not high,and so on.Based on the relevant theoreticalresearch study, combined with my own teaching practice, the author conductsa survey and a test on high school students’ mathematical ability,using the qualitativeand quantitative analysis on the results of investigation and test, summing up thepresent situation of high school mathematical operation ability, to analyze the factorsthat affect high school students mathematical operation ability, and then put forwardthe effective strategies to raise the capacity of high school students’mathematical ability.In this paper, the first chapter puts forward the research background and researchstatus quo. The new curriculum standard puts forward new requirements on highschool students’ mathematical operation ability. Cultivating and improving students’mathematical ability is the necessary premise on improving the mathematicsachievement and enhancing the students’ mathematical literacy of students. Thesecond chapter defines the mathematics ability and the ability of mathematicalconcept, and summarizes the characteristics of high school mathematics and theinfluence of mathematical operation ability in mathematics learning. With respect tothe junior middle school mathematics, mathematics in senior high school is morewide, deep, abstract, more variables, more complicated. The level of mathematical operation ability is closed linked with the learning of mathematics.The third chapter isdivided into three parts, the first part is about the usual test or assignment of thewrong topics to analyze the current situation of high school mathematical operationability; the second part has carried a the test on the high school math ability, andanalyzes the result of the test by SPSS, concluding that high school studentsmathematical operation ability level is uneven development, embodied in: good andpoor class students mathematical operation ability exists obvious differences, boysand girls mathematical operation ability exists obvious differences, the overall level ofthe high school mathematics ability deviation; the third part of the investigation to thehigh school mathematics ability, carrying out a statistical analysis on the result of thesurvey for each problem. The forth chapter combined with theoretical research andanalysis of the investigation and test, summarizes the impacts of high school studentsin mathematical ability development are: the student individuality psychologicalfactors, mathematics cognitive structure, mathematics thought method, the use ofcalculators and teachers’ teaching factors. The fifth chapter adopts correspondingstrategies about the development of high school students’ mathematical ability toimprove high school students mathematical operation ability, specific policies are:attention to the student individuality psychological factors, improvement on students’mathematical ability, perfection of the students’ mathematical cognitive structure,improvement on students’ mathematical ability, emphasis on the training of thestudents’ mathematical thinking, improvement on students’ mathematical ability,reasonable use a calculator, enhancement of the training of the oral mental arithmetic,enhancement of teachers’ exemplary role. The sixth chapter is summarized andprospects in this paper. I mainly do the work of the three aspects:first,I conducted a more extensive survey concerning the present situation of high schoolstudents’ ability in mathematics,met many teachers and students,and collected manyvivid materials including students’ assignments and wrong titles in exams at the usualtime;second,mathematics ability of students in the middle school affiliated to Shandong Normal University was tested and investigated, and the test and the results ofsurvey were analyzed by using SPSS software;Third,I proposed the strategy to improve the mathematical operation ability of high school students according to thereasons affecting high school students’ mathematical ability development;Due to thelimitation of the research time, there are some deficiencies in the study, coupled withthe limiting individual research level, the data processing may not reach thedesignated position, so the study will further improve in the future. |
