In the mathematics teaching material of junior middle school,geometry graph is a very important content to study.In the actual life,production and even the development of science and technology,there are many practical problems which need to be solved with the help of geometric graphics.Therefore,it is necessary for students to study geometry.The ability of mathematical drawing is an important ability for students to learn in studying geometry,which could not only improve the students' ability of spatial imagination,but also promote the development of students' problem solving ability.In this paper,the study of junior middle school students' ability of mathematical drawing is the research content and deep research is made on the following problems: What are the criteria of the ability of mathematical drawing? What is the present situation of junior high school students' ability of mathematical drawing? What are the factors that affect junior high school students' ability of mathematical drawing? What are the principles,methods and ways to cultivate junior high school students' ability of mathematical drawing? What is the enlightenment for the teaching of mathematical drawing?In this paper,deep research are made from both theory and practice based on the relevant knowledge of pedagogy and psychology and combined with the theories of mathematics teaching and mathematical methodology and a variety of versions of the junior high school mathematics teaching materials.First of all,on the basis of sorting out the present situation of the research of mathematical graphics at home and abroad,the research content of this paper was determined as the research of junior high school students' ability of mathematical drawing and thinking was made on what is the "mathematical drawing ability".Then questionnaire survey was carried out on all the mathematics teachers of Thirty-fifth Middle School in Linyi and 300 students of Grade 7,8 and 9.The test paper was compiled according to the contents of the teaching materials related to mathematical drawing and the 300 students were tested later.Then,the test results were analyzed from several angles,and the problems of students' mathematical drawing were summarized and the attribution was made.Finally,combined with my own teaching experience,six principles and five methods of training the junior high school students' ability of mathematical drawing were proposed.This paper is divided into five parts,the main contents are as follows:The first part is the problem statement.The background and significance of the research are proposed from three aspects of demand for the reform of mathematics curriculum,requirements of new curriculum standards and the importance of mathematical drawing in mathematics learning.The current situation of the research on mathematical graphics at home and abroad is described in detail and the relationship and difference between the research of this paper and the domestic and foreign research are compared.The second part is theoretical analysis,which mainly focuses on the definition of mathematical ability,the definition of mathematical drawing ability,the comparison of the relationship between mathematical drawing ability,mathematical drawing skills and spatial imagination ability,analysis of the measurement standard of mathematical drawing ability and the interpretation of the teaching material setting for cultivating junior high school students' ability of mathematical drawing.The third part is the investigation and analysis of junior high school students' ability of mathematical drawing,which is the core part of this paper.Through the analysis of the investigation results of the teachers and students and combined with the research on students' test results,a comprehensive analysis is made on the present situation of mathematics drawing ability of junior middle school students and the factors that influence the development of junior middle school students' mathematical drawing ability are found out.The fourth part is the research on the strategy of the cultivation of junior high school students' mathematical drawing ability.According to the results of the investigation and test,the problems existing in the training process of the junior high school students' mathematical drawing ability are analyzed and some suggestions,principles,methods and ways of training junior high school students' ability of drawing are proposed.Taking a teaching case as an example to show how the teacher train his students' mathematical drawing ability in the teaching of mathematical drawing.
