Mathematics of Senior Grade One is the foundation of senior high school mathematics knowledge.During Senior Grade One,the join point between junior middle school and senior high school,the mathematics knowledge has become theoretical and symbolized,which makes students easily get anxious when they are learning mathematics.Mathematics anxiety is a subject-specific form of anxiety,and it is a hot spot in math field to study on how to alleviate students' mathematics anxiety.This research adopted questionnaire investigations.To investigate relationship between the Senior Grade One students' positive psychological capital and mathematics anxiety,1300 students were chosen from three high schools in Jiangmen,Guangdong province.The conclusions of the research are as follows:1.The overall level of the Senior Grade One students' mathematics anxiety is in middle and lower level.The ranks of specific dimensions are as follows:classroom anxiety,emotional concerns,examination anxiety and fear of pressure.The total dimensions and specific dimensions of Senior Grade One students' mathematics anxiety exist significant differences in demographic variables,such as school type,class type,gender,origin of student,subject and so on.2.The overall level of the Senior Grade One students' positive psychological capital is in middle and higher level.The ranks of specific dimensions are as follows:hopes,optimism,resilience and self-efficacy.The total dimensions and specific dimensions of Senior Grade One students' positive psychological capital exist significant differences in some demographic variables,such as school type,class type,origin of student,subject and so on,but as for hope and optimism,there is no difference in gender.3.The total dimensions and specific dimensions of Senior Grade One students' positive psychological capital has significant negative correlation with the total dimensions and specific dimensions of mathematics anxiety.4.The total dimensions and specific dimensions of Senior Grade One students' positive psychological capital has significant predictive effect to mathematics anxiety.Self-efficacy and resilience are the effective predictive variables of specific dimensions,and hope has certain predictive effect to classroom anxiety.
