As one of the three pillars of positive psychology,positive psychological quality is being studied by many psychologists.At the same time,the problem of students' mental health has also become a topic that attracts more and more attention,especially the anxiety of senior high school students.In this study,the positive psychological quality and English learning anxiety as the research topic,the purpose is to explore the relationship between the two,trying to understand the high school students' positive psychological quality and the relationship between English learning anxiety,and put forward relevant countermeasures.In this study,a total of 506 students from four seniorhigh schools in Changde were investigated by using the positive mental quality scale and the English learning anxiety scale.Study on the use of statistical software SPSS17.0 for data processing and analysis,using frequency statistics,t test,variance analysis and correlation analysis to explore the relationship between the status of positive psychological quality and English learning an x i e t y of hi g h sc ho o l st u d e n t s an d tw o.The re s u l t s ar e as fo l l o w s :1.the positive psychological quality of senior high school students is significantly different from that of students and students.There are significant differences in gender and school competence among senior high school students.There is a significant difference in senior high school students' confidence.2.high school students have significant differences in gender,grade,school and source of English learning anxiety.Communication anxiety and anxiety among senior high school students are significantly different in gender and school.The negative evaluation anxiety of senior high school students has significant difference in school,sex,place of origin and so on.The test anxiety of senior high school students is significant different in sex,grade,school and student origin.Other anxieties of senior high school students differ significantly in grades and schools.The positive psychological qualities of com pet ence,confidence and aut on om y and learning anxi ety fact ors of3.high school students showed a significant negative correlation;the three factors there is a significant negative correlation between the positive psychological qualities of character dimensions and English learning anxiety,anxiety and other negative evaluation anxiety of high school students communication among senior high school students positive psychological quality;in love and compassion and dimensions of English learning anxiety,communicative anxiety,anxiety and other negative evaluation anxiety factor was negatively correlated.4.senior high school students' competence,self-confidence and self-discipline have significant negative predictive effect on high school students' English learning anxiety.
