Ideological and moral education is a kind of socialist modern civic literacy education, which is based on the cultivation of students' core quality of subject(political identity, rational spirit, the rule of law, public participation). As one of the elements of intelligence, observation is also an important embodiment of citizen's rational spirit, consciousness of rule of law and public participation. Students gain perceptual knowledge through observation activities, observation activities are helpful to find, analyze and solve problems, and it is a process of inquiry. Observation is an important method of scientific research, the source of all scientific research, but also the entrance of all new discoveries and inventions. The curriculum standards of each discipline emphasize the importance of observation to students' study. Therefore,schools and teachers should attach great importance to the observation, focusing on the cultivation and improvement of students' observation ability.In this paper, we review the domestic and foreign research theories related to observation and observation, and re analyze the connotation of observation on the basis of the existing theories. The author of the first observation are analyzed, based on the observation of decomposition, to develop a questionnaire on middle school students observation situation, through the questionnaire survey of junior high school students to explore the observation of the present situation and existing problems, and targeted for attribution analysis. Through the analysis of the questionnaire data, we found that most of the students are very interested in the observation, but the students'observation ability is not satisfactory. In summary it is not difficult to find,observation of the junior middle school students mainly have the following five questions: (1) the students lack of relevant discipline knowledge, do not use knowledge to observe; (2) students rarely plan in the observation activities, and the lack of a rational observation; (3) the students in the observation activities is very difficult take the initiative to ask questions, a serious lack of awareness of the problem;(4) to observe the activities easy to be interfered by other external factors, the observation activities can not be sustained; (5) students can not timely and effectively will observe the phenomenon and record the results. On the basis of the reality of the result of the investigation, and combined with the relevant theoretical research at home and abroad, the author analysis the reason of the above problems, and trying to have observation through the following measures to improve the status of junior high school, improve the ability of observation: To observe the interest and inspire students,such as (1) the development of social investigation to enhance their social concern; (2)access to social information through the campus forums to help students; (3) initiative to observe the society through political speech in five minutes "so that the form of the students; two, teach students the scientific observation methods, such as analysis of social phenomena (1) use the ideological and moral lessons to teach students knowledge; (2) a clear observation of the details; three, the use of social practice and other forms of training students' ability of observation; for example, (1) to carry out"to be a volunteer activities; (2) the open layout homework; (3) to Students experience.The purpose of this study was to observe the stress existing in training problems through a questionnaire survey of rural middle school students in North Jiangsu, make teachers aware of the importance of observation, analysis and observation of training for junior high school students put forward the corresponding suggestion.
