Flipped Classroom(FC),also called Reversed Class(RC),is a comprehensive teaching approach in which the teachers design teaching tasks and guide interactive activities based on students' self-detection that they have done during autonomous learning by using some self-teaching resources(mainly videos,PPT,etc.)prepared and sent to online teaching platforms in advance.Recent years have witnessed an increasing quantity of theoretical and empirical researches about FC in college students. However,a brief review of previous studies reveal that a few of them chose junior high school students as subjects, which mainly focus on the subjects for examination, and still few are the application of FC in Information Technology(IT)class. Thus, under the guidance of FC theory, the present research adopts empirical methods in an attempt to answer two questions:Whether or not will the FC has a positive effect on students' learning style in IT class? What are the teaching procedures of FC in IT class?Having analyzed relevant researches home and abroad, the author carries out teaching experiments in the present study using junior high school students as subjects before making the definition and methods of Flipped Classroom clear.Based on other learning models of FC,teaching experiments are conducted.Experimental class and control class are set respectively among four classes with similar learning level in junior seven. At the beginning of the experiment,a questionnaire is conducted to know whether students have the hardware equipment on carrying out the experiment and to know their learning approaches and habits in IT lessons. At the end of the experiment, another questionnaire and interviews for some students are adopted.Analyses by the means of Moodle platform on the statistics gathered from the questionnaire and interviews show that the application of FC to junior high school IT learning has positive influences on the students' learning approaches. What's more, teaching cases and observations are used to in teaching practice to figure out the teaching procedures and strategies of using FC in IT class. The results are summarized as follows:Significant progress has been made in teaching and learning by adopting FC in IT class.Students' awareness of autonomous learning and cooperative learning has been greatly raised. This present study figures out the teaching procedures of FC in IT class, that is building a learning network through Moodle platform and electronic classroom composed of three models:before-class(autonomous learning),while-class(cooperative learning)and after-class(individual learning)to realize the teaching process of "knowledge teaching, knowledge internalization and knowledge compensation"...
