The contemporary western is undergoing a comprehensive teaching revolution, which the view of course should be transformed from predesigned modern curriculum to generative post-modern curriculum paradigm and the view of knowledge should be change from deterministic modern theory of knowledge to dynamic post-modern theory of knowledge. How to improve the students’ learning, practice and innovative ability to stimulate the unity and personality development of student in education is one of the most important tasks in Chinese long-term educational revolution. The junior IT is a course which is full of foundation, comprehension, development and technicality and the basic target of it is focus on training and improving the students’ information literacy. The IT teachers have long-term concentration in how to change and strengthen the traditional teaching methods and contents of curriculum so that students can participate in and explore more actively in class in order to promote the information literacy more comprehensively and in full-scale. The Flipped Classroom Model (FCM) which derived from in the school of USA has received extensive attention from many scholars all over the world. In the background of the deeply development in Education Informatization, this paper studied the two aspects of the theory and practice of the FCM to make a further understanding and exploration on it.This thesis includes four chapters:In chapter one and chapter two the author took a brief overview about the basic education curriculum reform, the development of Education Information, the Junior IT and to introduce the research content and method through the literature research. Through literature comparison, the author analyzed the content and the object of related papers, depended on the basis of these content to elaborated the overseas and domestic research actualities and the concept of FCM and given an overview of the FCM through defined the characteristics and carded the relevant theories of FCM, which took a feasibility analysis about the FCM applied in the Junior IT courses.In chapter three, the author designed a teaching flow chart of FCM based on the questionnaire survey method comparative study method and literature research. Then the author implemented the teaching experiment of Junior IT to test the FCM teaching effect and to understand the views of the students by the analysis from knowledge factors and non-knowledge factors.In chapter four, the author discussed the advantages and limitations of the FCM and analyzed the shortages of the teaching experiment combined with, then put forward the prospects for the development of the FCM in the field of our nation’s education.
