High school new standard geography adhere to the basic concept of student-oriented,put forward new requirements to the geography classroom,pay attention to the combination of theory and practice,learn the geography which is useful to life and lifelong development,and advocate exploratory geography learning style.Case teaching as a “dialogue” between theory and practice,shorten the distance between them greatly.Its exploration,practical and inspiration are introduced into the geography classroom gradually.But in the application,it's easy to appear some problems,such as the ambiguous of concept,the inappropriate of case selection,the improper of classroom organization and the poor of knowledge transference.Therefore,it's very important that how to study geography case teaching more systematically and deeply,and how to make it better and play its positive role.The paper takes the high school geography classroom as the platform and the teaching materials of the Lu Education Edition as the basis.And it also combines with the geography standard to explore and research the application of case teaching in the high school geography teaching.First,this paper takes the need of the development of education reform,the current situation of high school geography case teaching and the college entrance examination proposition in the geography paper form and intention as the research background.It is also combined with the domestic and foreign research progress of case teaching.According to thes aspects,the author puts forward the research purpose and meaning of this paper and the research ideas and methods.Second,on the basis of the case teaching,this paper discusses the connotation,classification and method of it.Third,through the design of the questionnaires for teachers and students,the scientific selection of respondents and the collection of the questionnaires to analyze the results and problems of them from the angles of teachers and students.Besides,the author discusses the case teaching strategy from these three dimensions: optimize the implementation of case teaching,improve the policy guidance and combine other methods to make up for the lack of case teaching.Last,theory with practice,this paper selects “agricultural production and the geographical environment” from Textbook two of Lu Education Edition to design the case teaching to apply the case teaching to apply the case teaching strategy to the high school geography teaching.
